Aor is getting 8-9 months these days . September people are getting it now. He will have his AOR by end of august or September. Nothing to worry about.

I think the IRCC is taking advantage of COVID19 Pandemic and holding applications... of thousands of people. They really don't know what to do with these applications. Honestly, we work all these COVID19 time without having any excuse. However, these IRCC officers when you call they say COVID19 Pandemic and bla...bla....blha.......

Considering the current unemployment rate caused by pandemic in Canada and the budget deficit resulted from government supports to the laid-off workers, the policy makers would not agree with expedited fashion of processing immigration applications at least for some months. However, more application submissions means more arriving fees even if the application remain outstanding for months or years!

I think they are primarily focusing on the online applications as they as easy to handle and officers working from home can deal with them at will. I have spoken to many CEC applicants who have got their PR in under three months. From application to COPR and here we are waiting for over 8 or 9 months just for a file number. Gross injustice.
