Hello members I submitted my BoC on 29/Jan/21. I had my virtual hearing on 31/May/21. It was a long hearing and took 3 hours at the end the judge just told me that she will mail me a decision.

I guess everyone is shocked, hearing in 5months? why expediting his claim while you have people waiting for eligibility interview for more than 6months... Getting hearing quick is good thing, but I would definitely ask my lawyer as to why?

01/Dec/2020 to 15/Dec/2020 14 Days Quarantine.
16/Dec/2020 Eligibility interview & refugee identity document @CBSA office.
18/Dec/2020 Medical
03/Jan/2021 work permit received I applied online using GC key Account.
29/Jan/21 Submitted Basis of Claim.
04/May/2021 Received Notice for virtual hearing.

May be for your long hearing my appointment had canceled in this day. Did your hearing was short one and took 3 hours? Was it less complex one? What time did you have hearing? Is the member addressed any issues like credibility/IFA etc in the beginning? Can you please share your overall virtual hearing experience so that other fellow can get useful information from you.

Either very good sign or not great sign that someone got processing so quickly. Indian citizens are rarely considered for less complex processing but there are always exceptions.

Does she tell you a specific time like for me she told me that She will mail me a decision after 2 weeks. Does she tell you something like that?
