Guys, do you send back the filled IMM1017 medical webform by webform? Or by email?
I don't know if this answers your question but No. I did not send mine back as I did not believe it's our place to. It's the job of the medical practitioner to share their findings with IRCC not mine.

I did however forward on a copy of my eMedical which showed I had attended my appointment

Initially I didnt send the eMedical since the Medical Center said they'll take care of it. But in the forum here, I saw someone point this out in the IRCC email which says:

Code:
Once we have sent you the forms, you will have 30 days to do your medical, advise us by email that it has been done, and provide any requested documents. Please note that the results of your new medical examination will be valid for 12 months.
Since my profile didn't get updated for more than a month after my medical - I sent an email and a webform saying I'm done with my medical - and then after 10 days my profile showed Medicals passed.

Net - Looks like if you see a delay, there is no harm in updating IRCC through the webform/email about your status.

Hey, is it updated now on your account ? IRCC responded to my email and extended timelines to submit PCC to 90 days. No change within account though.
BTW, do they request you PCC from all the countries you stayed in or just the country that you are currently staying? I just don't want to get to FBI reports once again as I am not residing in the US right now.

Does IRCC usually ask for new PCCs at the same time that they ask for new medicals? Or do they ask for PCCs subsequently to passing the new medicals?

What about the IMM 1017 form, did you send that to IRCC? My doctor said I need to send this form to IRCC. I think she also said she will send me a copy of the eMedicals report by email but she didn't say if I had to send that to IRCC as well. I understand it's supposed to be automatically uploaded onto the IRCC platform.

I think I will send the IMM 1017 form now and if my doc sends me a copy of the eMedicals I'll send that as well when I receive it next week.

If the Medical Center uses eMedical then I think you wont get the 1017 back, you will only get the eMedical Information Sheet - which is what I submitted. Most Medical Centers use eMedical system if I'm not wrong.

Ok. The center I went to uses eMedicals, but she still filled and signed the IMM 1017. But Ok then. I will wait to receive a copy of the eMedicals summary and send thst to IRCC!

We are not even required to send the eMedicals summary to IRCC.
I never sent the same and both the times (original in 2019 and remedicals now), my medical info got updated in the IRCC account.

Dear all,

I would like to share my own story.

I got my visa post March and it will be expired soon in the middle of June, 2021. I do not want to see my visa being got expired, so I have tried all my way to reach Canada. I renewed my US (B1) visa and took a risk to fly to US and then fly to Can. I checked on IRCC website and informed that I am likely to enter Canada if I flew directly from US with my validated COPR. My route was from Vietnam to Dallas. I stayed in the US for 3 days to make a new COVID test and also wanted to make some gaps before the flights. I did not want Canada think I took a transit in US. After 3 days, I flew from Dallas to Vancouver. At the checking ticket desk, they checked carefully documents before issuing a plane ticket. Finally, after minutes, I got my plane ticket and got on board. After 4 hours, I was in Vancouver. That was the most frightening moment ever because I worried they would refuse me entering Canada. But not, all the immigrant process was very smooth. I felt relieved.

After 3 day quarantine in Vancouver hotel, I flew to Saskatoon and finished the rest of quarantine period. Now, I am waiting for my PR card. I hope I will get it soon.

I wish the best luck will come to you guys all in this group.

Cheers.

Can I still travel? I reached out to their CoVID exemption desk. They mentioned I don't need a written authorization. I also called their helpdesk to ask if I can travel using AL (given I don't have eCoPR). She said yes I can travel. But I am confused. They seemed to have cancelled AL but customer care agent doesn't think so. I don't have eCoPR. Also the email was sent on 23rd thats when they started travel restriction from India and Pakistan. I am not sure if they just sent out the email on AL just because I have Indian passport.

What's your suggestion?
@legalfalcon

Can you share your thoughts please? I spoke to couple of IRCC agents yesterday and today. They both mentioned that my current COPR is valid. If I travel to Canada border the CBP officer should be able to land me and issue me the COPR. Yesterday officer told me that I should just carry the last issues AL (which was cancelled in April) with me so that I have the new COPR number. Today I spoke even more detail with the officer. I told her that I was never issued PRV or COPR (the first time in September or again in January when they renewed by CoPR). Then she said that I can come via land because for that I don't need a PRV. The airlines may ask me to have a PRV. But she said that I would be issued the COPR on the Canadian Border. So its just a matter of reaching the border. Do you think I should risk of going to the Border? Also how does it work. Say I go to the border. If they turn me around would I still be able to remain in US or would I become stateless.

I didn't receive a PCC request yet, though my medicals passed. FYI it took over 40 days since I completed re-meds to reach re-meds passed stage. So some randomness from IRCC.
Thank you....yes the timeline seems really random. I hope it’s just the request for passport next for you.

CBP is US Customs and Border Protection. You will be issued a COPR by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).

Instead of calling IRCC, you should call CBSA at the port of entry you wish to enter from and get the information. What you hav been told is correct, but the final decision is with the CBSA officer at the PoE, so call them

You can get the number at https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/contact/bis-sif-eng.html?wbdisable=true

Thank you for sharing their number. I just spoke to them. The officer said they would be able to print the CoPR in Coutts if I give them the PR number. He also said I should be able to land if I follow the health protocol. Any other guidance? I am still little anxious but thinking I will take the risk. Please let me know if you feel otherwise. I had raised a webform requesting the IRCC to send me the COPR document. That was forwarded to the Sydney office from Mississauga office about three weeks back and but haven't heard anything. I am not sure if they will come back to me in time before I need to start my employment. What are your thoughts? Should I keep waiting for Sydney office to respond to my webform or should I just go given the guidance I have received from the CBSA officers and IRCC call center agents. The CBSA officer did ask me what passport I have. I told him I have India passport. but he didn't mention that I need PRV or anything like that.
