Hello guys, I've been refused multiple times but i got serious in getting all the required documents that they would need. The last refusal pretty much was because of in sufficient funds and limited prospects of jobs in my country and that gives less ties to my country thats was the real reason written in the GCMS note. So, i corrected those two reason by having to deposit $30,000 into my account which is the required amount depending in my duration and I got a job offer from a big known company in my country that i will get take this offer after finishing my 3 years study in Canada.
I have two questions:

  1. Is it better to transfer my funds to bank in Canada to proof my seriousness? NSGB bank in my country offer that service because they also operate in Canada
  2. Is the job offer from big and known company in my country is enough to fulfill the tied to my country concerns?

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thank you ☺

1. Was this money just dumped into your account. That is a big red flag.
2. Sort of. You don’t have an obligation to go back. Suspicious that they would hold a job for you for 3 years.

1. No, 60% of the money is been there for months and 40% is deposited days ago

2. "sort of" you mean it have a chance to convince the officer? and yeah the company has a very known in my country with high reputation

So $12k was dumped into your account a few days ago. Where did this money come…big red flag. Officers will not really look into a company. But get the employment letter from the company to state that they will hold a job for you for 3 years and pay you xx amount in a certain position when you graduate. Honestly what company holds a job for 3 years. Show how the job builds on current education and leads to career progression. It is tie but you are not obligated to go back to the job.

How many refusals have you had? Hopefully you aren’t applying to soon after the refusal.

i mean @scylla is right, having a job offer is not a strong argument for vo. anyone can fake one or ask their network to get one. visa officer wants to see how you layed it your future goals and how the program in canada will help achieving that. that means u need to show career progress and importance of the program to your future. i dont know your full profile. but having limited prospects as refusal reason. it means you didn't explain properly or in depth in your sop

2. Less consideration by VO but raises lots of legitimacy and may put you in another trouble. Where in the World someone hold job for 3 years??? Red flag
Best bet could be, you are employed with the company and the company sponsors your studies… study leave. And if you go this route, question about the value to the company to deserve this arrangement whilst you dont have a degree. Other justification that make sense is Company is family owned

Yes, some of the money is recently deposited and it’s support from my father. It’s legit so I’m not worried if they later ask me to explain. And about the job offer its also legit and not fake. The company is been there for many decades in my country is it still a red flag?

Try to understand what are the possibility person, who is offering you a job will also remain till three years, and what happen if such kind of pandemic happen again will you still be given a position in this company especially when people are laying of lot of employees on a daily basis.

No one can tell if your application will be accepted. Given your multiple refusals, a dump of $12k is a red flag even if from a parent. Assume you are 18-21 then if you need parental support. A job offer being held for 3 years is not a tie. You don’t have to return. As said above, if you were working for them and they were funding your studies then that is a tie. And your reason was limited prospects so assume you change to a different program for this application. All you can do is try. All the best.

My IRCC lawyer told me that job offer literally means nothing to the VO and they actually take it to be desperate and question your application. Please dread carefully.

Same happened with me! I liquidated my gold for proof of funds (30% of it) and mentioned stating I had some cash of my own and my gold jewelry which I liquidated in my SOP. That seemed to work for me. You can tell them your reality.
