I am Nov 6th , waiting for AOR too. Its really scary to wait as i could see some applications being returned. The second half of November received the AOR as per the sheet. Surprisingly only the first half needs to wait.

Thank you for coming back to me. I originally applied on November 28th, they replied for the first time on December 21st asking to pay for Biometric and I paid on the same day. Then I got the payment confirmation from their end on the 23rd of December and an formal email confirming the reception of payment on January 25th. Since then, nothing... And yesterday, the whole thing came back. I sent it back today in express via Canada post, they should receive it by Monday or Tuesday.
Do you have any suggestion of what to do? Who to contact? Is there a way that they could action it faster because of my work permit expiry in August (August 20th) ?

I’m so sorry to hear about your application being returned. It really is problematic system they have and causes a lot of stress on individuals and families. Have you tried directly contacting IRCC? Maybe speaking with someone who works there can help answer your question. My OWP was returned for missing payment (IRCC website is not very easy to understand and English is my first language)... my current work permit expires September 2021. It is very frustrating that they return the entire application for something that can be resolved online. Best of luck to you, wishing you all the best.
Thank you for your answer. It's really frustrating. Do you know if IRCC can provide you a document saying that your application is being proceed and then you can still work waiting for the approval? Do you have the IRCC number? I could give it a shot, they should receive my returned application today or tomorrow, they should action it asap if I want to have a chance to, at least, get my open work permit; PR can wait, i know it takes longer.

I have almost same timeline as yours. Received app on 18 and real AOr with file number on 17th april.
Congrats guys! I read somewhere yesterday where an applicant's clinic told him that IRCC is having system issues and medical results can't be transmitted. So it's good to see that IRCC has fixed their system for medicals.
