Hello everyone,
-Resident in Canada on temporary work permit
- AOR - Dec 11th, 2020
- Medical passed - Jan 15th, 2021
- Got married to a non-resident on April 27th, 2021
- Updated IRCC on change in marital status on the 28th through the webform

Got this email the following week - May 9th, 2021
I got a list of documents to be mailed to Case Processing Centre in Edmonton, Alberta:
and

  • The add-on request including:
    • your client ID number/UCI,
    • a detailed letter of explanation,
    • a copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship, and
    • if applicable, the proof of payment.

BUT this list does NOT contain police certificate, medicals and IMM 5406 which I've been seeing as part of the requirements for people who just got married and want to add their spouse. Is anyone else in this situation or can anyone help with useful information?

Vaccination is progressing among Canada whereas 23M doses were distributed as of May 20 thats more than half of Canada population i guess.

Hope to hear good news any soon of what relates travel restrictions and application approvals.

Ah then thats why. You might even get an email saying they received the docs and processed them (i got it for the rcmp but not sure if it always happens)
Yes. I got the email the very next day when I submitted my RCMP letter that we have received your additional documents.

They asked for my rcmp certificate April 16 and submitted it on April 19, I got the email right away that they have received it, but I have not had my status change in my application... Hopefully soon...

Hey guys.

I'm a CEC inland applicant (AOR 2nd Dec).
Medical passed (Jan 13th).
based on last phone call to IRCC on April 20th:
eligibility: recommended passed, criminality: passed, security: not started.

I was requested to submit schedule A form on the 14th of April which I submitted two days after (I think this is normal as I read if you were refused a visa previously (which I was) that's a regular request) and the ADR status changed to "reviewing additional documents you provided".

My ADR changed to "Not Applicable" last week without any GU. is there anyone else with a similar case? and does anyone know if that means PPR is close?

Thanks.

Hope so. I called twice in March and May both time my status was same:- eligibility:-recommended to pass security:- not started and rest is in process. My visa office is Edmonton secondary Vancouver.

You, your team and rest of the frontline workers are real heroes. Wish you good luck and hopefully your immigration process completes smoothly. God bless you
