Got ghost update today. I hope something good will come soon. From yesterday cic call and also gcms notes that received yesterday my security and eligibility was not started so may be they start eligibility

Security takes around 3 months I believe

Ghost updates received on April 12th, received 2 ghost updates on April 16th.
Called CIC on April 17th they informed application is in progress and all my stages are passed/completed by April16th.

Received email requesting for Name, UCI#, POE, first and last entry to Canada and responded on 5th May

Received new portal link and credentials on 6th May, uploaded the photos, updated the address on 7th May.

Received eCOPR on 8th May (Saturday) in the new portal where I went ahead and downloaded the eCOPR document.
Yet to get the PR card.

Apply for New pgwp policy. BOWP is good for one year but new pgwp will be good for 18 months.

I am currently in India, stuck because of flight suspension. And on the website they have mentioned that to apply for 18 months extension you need to be in Canada, will that be a problem? Well I am a temporary Canadian resident, came to India to visit family.

Also are biometrics required? If yes, can I get it done from outside Canada?
