Yep, which leads me to believe that he was either lying or thought that the confirmation email is the AOR.The guy who has received AOR has not given any details.

Yes it looks like or he was referring to some other program after applying on ITAYep, which leads me to believe that he was either lying or thought that the confirmation email is the AOR.
I think he just confused the confirmation emailYep, which leads me to believe that he was either lying or thought that the confirmation email is the AOR.
What is the purpose of the formal letter ?Did any of you just submit your degree and transcripts and nothing else for your proof of education? Reason I’m asking is because.I’ve heard people say that you also need a formal letter from your college otherwise your application is going to get rejected. I’m losing sleep over this lol
I uploaded the letter too as it was part of the requirement, but to be honest, i don't know why they want it. Transcript and degree is more than enough to prove education...Did any of you just submit your degree and transcripts and nothing else for your proof of education? Thanks man this atleast makes me feel a bit better . This whole process is such a mess if they had just released the guide even a week before the program launched many of the people wouldn’t have made silly mistakes.Based on the guideline - there are 2 options and/or - so in case you don't have the letter of your school then the degree/diploma is the notice of graduation. Don't worry, i'm pretty sure you will be fine.
- You must provide:
- A final transcript, and
- A letter from the institution and/or the formal notice of graduation
- You must provide proof that shows:
- The type of credential granted (degree, diploma, certificate, or attestation)
- The length (in weeks, months, or years) of the program of study,
- That you were authorized to study for the duration of studies,
- the date of completion;
- the name of the school that granted the degree, diploma, certificate, or attestation.
What if the ff are not in the reference letter but in Employment agreement?Job duties are required-

2. Proof of Current Employment in Canada
When you apply, you will need to prove that you are currently employed in Canada.
You must submit the following as proof:
- A copy of your work permit(s) in Canada (if applicable), and
- An employer reference letter from your current employer. The letter must include:
- location of work
- specific period of your employment (to/from dates)
- description of your main responsibilities and duties
- your total annual salary and benefits
- the number of hours you work per week
- your employer's name, signature, full address, telephone number and email address (if applicable)
I see. I wasn't sure was exactly they meant by "formal notice of graduation".Based on the guideline - there are 2 options and/or - so in case you don't have the letter of your school then the degree/diploma is the notice of graduation. Don't worry, i'm pretty sure you will be fine.

kindly read the post fully first few lines may create confusion.Hi I discussed about biometric situation with consultant who has pretty good amount of experience in this field he told me if cic did not provide mandatory section for biometric proof then they cannot refuse your file for that and there are some laws that cic also have to follow.
As there was no mandatory section for biometrics proof in portal so chance of refusal because of that is almost zero.
He said if you missed mandatory sections (section with *) then there is chance of refusal.
Note: Info from 3rd person. Neither from me nor from CIC
I think they will start tomorrow.Well, it's a new day. Hopefully we'll start seeing AORs this week
