Hi everyone

i am an Indian citizen looking to apply for TRV from my current residence country(european) with my family (my wife n two children). So my situation is as below descripted
1) Permanent employment contract and monthly pay slip 2800 CAD. Bank Balance 20000 CAD. Travel history UK n Switzerland ( have UK visa stamped on passport but no record of Switz. since European Schenghen treaty allow PR citizen to travel EU countries without visa).
2) Have bank balance of 10000 CAD n assets worth 20000CAD also in my country of origin but don’t want to list in my application file as i think my current residence country remuneration should be for Visa.
3)my family is entirely dependent on me .Wife housewife , Son 21 yr , Daughter 28 yr both Uni student.

someone suggested me to wait before applying for TRV visa now due to Covid restrictions n since i visted UK during Christmas so there need to be a cooling off period before i apply. My app.is of a genuine TRV seeker for 8 days . as i am well settled here but would like to seek your suggestion to improve my appl. N see if i stand any chance to get it . If no i would happily visit Dubai instead of Canada since embassy see people applying from TNC as potential immigrant so won’t waste time n money applying. Will be thankful for your insightful suggestions n opinions

You can’t travel right now but can apply. You want to visit for 8 days so you need to figure out what your bank account amount can you afford a visit for 3 people (Airfare, accommodations etc.)

Your daughter has to apply separate as she is not your dependant (over 22). She needs to show her own ties to her own country and funds.

Look recently i asked a travel agency to organize and quote price for a 8 day Toronto n Vancouver tour but they weren’t able since there were some restrictions for tourism in Canada due to second wave of Covid. So I myself made some basic assumptions (flight+ Accomodation + shopping ) i will end up paying 16000-17000 CAD for my trip , so would you suggest me attach also my indian assets n balance or transfer them in European account. R visas being granted to people not listed in exemption guidelines? coz right we have more chances of rejection than approval. Last question reply if you think it deem to be answerable. R you an Immigration attorney or just an habitual follower of this forum? If answer is affirmative for former ,i am also searching somebody able to fill my application diligently. Thanks

Not a immigration attorney or consultant. If you want someone, hire someone licensed or contact the moderators of the forum. Also your daughter is not your dependent so she needs to show her own funds to pay for the trip and show strong ties to her home country. It seems you are using half your savings (or more) for the trip. You can apply for a visa but can’t travel until restrictions are lifted. It may not be this year.

Do you have written authorization to travel to see your family. You need to take covid test with certificate at each transit point so Qatar.

Pretty sure you can’t enter Qatar so your plan isn’t possible but yes you will need to follow the quarantine rules in the transit country plus get a new PCR test 72 hours before departure. You may also need a visa to enter some transit countries.

These rules have just been put into place. You can only enter Qatar right now if you are a resident. If you get denied entry to Qatar yes you could be sent back to India if the Maldives won't take you back. You keep on avoiding the question about how much time you have spent in the Maldives. If you have been in India in the past 14 days you may not even be able to get on the plane.

May be they are not yet in Maldives and it's just a plan.
