Good day sir! I will be having my upfront medical exam here in the Philippines this week and I just want to ask in a panel physician’s perspective, I have glomerulonephritis and currently taking prescriptions from my doctor. I ask for a medical certificate to present to the panel physicians on the day of my medical exam but there’s a note that I still need to undergo kidney biopsy. What do you think will be their verdict?

Impossible to say. Will depend on the severity of your kidney issues and your prognosis.

What do you think I should do? I believe the medications are doing what it needs to do. I feel healthy and my tests are improving but due to rbc’s in my urine, they can still tell that I have GN.

If it is discovered you are lying about any medical condition that you lead to a multiyear ban so I wouldn't suggest doing that. Canada specifically looks for kidney issues so they will find evidence of a problem. Would bring a note from your current nephrologist with your diagnosis, medical history, current medication and prognosis.

Oh no. Its the last thing on my mind. I will really disclose my condition that’s why I asked for a medical certificate from my doctor. I’m just wondering if a.) there’s a chance I would pass in this conditon, b.) they would ask for a kidney biopsy, c.) instantly fail me. What do you think?

The details only included in my certificate are my personal info, my medical condition, the medications, and a note that I still need to undergo kidney biopsy

You can start with that but I assume there is a good chance that you may be asked for further information. Do you have the biopsy scheduled? Sure that will help determine your prognosis.

It should be this May but its hard to schedule due to increasing covid cases. But its for sure that my medical exam will be held first before the biopsy.

Would send in any additional information via webform once you have your biopsy results and prognosis. You will be informed if you need to do further tests or if you passed the medical.
