I had asked a question for all to answer but saw no answer. Did any one here encounter issues with biometric where the light did not turn green for finger prints? and what happened in such case. Can any one help here?
I had a little bit of issue with the fingerprint scan, I have some scarring on one of my fingers that led to some resistance with the scanning. It took more than a few tries with a bit of maneuvering but we got good enough scans to send off.

Did a similar thing happen with yours?

NO, the 3 tries all were red other than little finger that showed green! this problem was always there b4 for airport etc. but with few tries this worked. Here the tech tried 3 times and the tech said looks like genetic issue and left as is. He told he will send a note with the report to indicate so.

so looks now this will create delays !thus wanted some one else who had similar issues.
thank you

Hi guys
I have a question to ask
I already gave my biometrics in 2019. So I don’t have to give again but i already paid my biometrics fee with the application. I have an AOR now. Do i call IRCC For refund?

Hi when did you give fingerprints? I heard IRCC will ask you to do it a second time if not pass.

No, someone else was asked to re do, and still didn't pass , then ircc ask her to explain why by a certain date, otherwise they refuse the app.
oh dear How do we know why it doesn't scan. The tech needs to explain Thank you however. Someone said may be they do manual prints on paper. But these things delay everything. But beyond our control. Hands are hands. n some have issues I guess
thank u

No problem. Can you update when you get any result? Thank you.

I suggest that they ask FOOTPRINT instead.

Does anybody know how long it’ll take for them to start working on the eligibility ?
They’re still doing the background check.
