I am updating application to sponsorship and when I am not able to update the UCI/Client no for my wife who is the cosigner, her UCI no is 10 digit and form is taking only 8 digts.

I am updating application to sponsorship and when I am not able to update the UCI/Client no for my wife who is the cosigner, her UCI no is 10 digit and form is taking only 8 digts.

Type last 8 digits and provide an explanation letter saying that the form wasn't accepting 10 digits hence I am providing 10 digits UCI in this letter.

I had the insurance for him until Feb end and now he is literally out of coverage, i don think he is covered by public health yet. They didnt respond on the visitor visa extension, but yes, i got the sponsorship approval today.
Do you know the next steps and approx timelines after we received the approval for the kids?

Did you applied for Extension online ? I applied Online for Visitor record at 1 month before the 6 month visitor visa validity.
The timelines will be based on the Visa office where file is transferred. So, no idea...

Hi , had received the Passport request for my baby. But they have asked to send it to VFS office ( assuming that we are in india). But we are already in-canada and baby is currently in Visitor visa ( extended till March 28 2021).
So can i send the passport to CPC-ottawa office ? please advise.

Quick update.
Just received the CoPR today from Etobicoke by email. They asked me to send my son's photo via mail to their office to issue his PR Card. This has been quite a long journey for all of us. Praying and sending positive Vibes to all of you waiting. Here is my full timeline:

Application received: April 17th, 2020
AOR: October 27th, 2020
SA : October 28th, 2020
Moved to Cairo VO: October 28th, 2020
AOR2: January 26th, 2021
Medical Request: January 28th, 2021
Medical Passed: February 2nd, 2021
ADR: February 7th, 2021
Submitted Documents: February 7th, 2021
PPR: February 9th, 2021
Pre-arrival: February 9th, 2021
DM : February 10th, 2021

Passport Submission in Canada:
PP Sent via CanadaPost: February 9th, 2021
PP delivered to Ottawa: February 17th, 2021
PP Returned: March 1st, 2021
Application Approved: March 11th, 2021
ECAS status Complete: March 11th, 2021
Virtual Landing at Etobicoke VO: March 11th, 2021

PR Card:
CoPR: March 19th, 2021
Photo Sent to Etobicoke: March 19th, 2021

Edit: when you complete the process you can link the PR Card application process to your GCKEY. I was able to do it today to be able to track the PR Card application as well.

Congratulations!! Yes you can. I did it for my son just last month. Good luck and you can check my signature for timelines. A piece of advice send it via FedEx or UPS not Canada Post. Didn't have a pleasant experience with them and also request a signature. Regarding the self addressed envelope ot has to be Canada Post Xpresspost. Good luck

There should be instructions for where to send if you are in Canada. If they're not in the letter you can call ircc or try through Delhi.

Once the medicals are passed, does it mean that the status will change from IN PROCESS to DECISON MADE ? That's what the ecas Tracker shows the explanation of status ? Not mine but I am saying in general.

It's not automatic. Decision made is its own step. Getting the medicals does not cause the next step.

Not seen any cases of that but some countries send medical request towards end of process. So maybe a bit unusual to get pre-arrival first but sort of makes sense. Particularly now that they're trying to speed things up with things a bit out of order. For a young child, why not - it's not like there are security or background check issues, once parenthood established, that's the main thing.

Don't see any reason to worry about it although odd they haven't sent medical request around same time.

Also one more Question, baby's visitor visa is expiring this month. (Mar 28 2021). I was doing her Extension application ( 2nd time). Should i still raise a extension for the baby, or not required now.
