PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

Hello Everyone,
I have received a CoPR document from Etobicoke office. I haven't seen any application on GCKEY account. So I assume my next step is to get the Photo and mail the letter with photo to Etobicoke IRCC address??? How can I track my application?? Please help me understand the process.
And how many photos needs to be sent??

Wait! I also received COPR from Etobicoke office March 13 (Saturday) but I can't understand your point regarding linking fields!? Do we need to fill out an application?

No you don't need to. But you can track your pr card online if you link the PR card application to your account. This is not required from you to do, it's just if you want to see when it's printed and mailed.

It seems to have stopped at November. Most people who submitted in November haven't got any progress. My friends who had submitted in September got it in less than 2 months...

The only Office that is working in a pre-covid pace is Vancouver office. I saw over 5 or 6 people in another thread who got their cards from Vancouver office in 45-60 days. Hopefully they fix this clog in Ontario.

Just assume it takes a year. it makes you feel better. A year from your copr DATE.

Based on CIC calculator 118 days, last time I checked, which was last week.

I think they stopped issuing PR card because with PR card people can travel and as we can see many persons in this forum have been waiting for their PR to be be to travel

Just one more question, I linked my PR card application to my original application but it looks like the original one with eligibility, medical, background and etc. so how it will be updated regarding the PR card?

Well I am travelling anyways. Just mail your Pr card address to a friend and ask him to send it to your country. They are not gonna stop me.

My friend got COPR in JAN 2020. and recently just got his PR card. It took him over a year and he asked me to bring the card overseas so he can travel back to Canada.
