I received my webform's response after waiting for more than a month. Here is what it says:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

You will find below useful information that we hope will help understand the process and current status of your application for permanent residence:

· Your application was received via your account on May 12, 2020.

· Your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,

• The background verifications are currently valid.
• The security background verification is currently valid.
• The criminal background verification is in process.

· Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre (CPC-O) in Ottawa, Ontario.

Questions:

1. It says background verification is valid - Does it mean passed? If yes, I don't see it in my portal
2. Security is valid -

I am under the impression that Background Verification = Security + Criminality is that right?

I have contacted the MP in my location and he said that there is a caseworker who will contact IRCC on my behalf regarding the delays of my application.

I also email my local mp here just a way of getting so movement on my file! Let me know how it goes

“Valid” here indicates, that the documents required for the specific stage are “legal, not expired, and accepted by IRCC,” and no further input is required by the applicant.

If your eligibility is passed, then your security should be in progress.

My Eligibility = Passed - I can see it is mentioned in GCMS notes.
Security = Passed (as Per agent) - I see a blank in GCMS notes.

If you security is passed, it will be blank a it is redacted. After the security is done, a final review takes place and then the decision is made and you will see "approved" in your GCMS notes.

Finally submitted my biometrics today since the vfs opened for EE candidates this week. The biometrics are now visible in my cic account

Any idea by when should i expect copr.? Also do you recommend me to apply for GCMS notes?

My last update using the webform on 31st October was
The eligibility verification is currently valid.

The security background verification has not been initiated.
The criminal background verification is in process.
The medical examination results on file are valid until May 21

Furthermore, we have verified the information and can confirm that your file is currently located at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.

Did you call IRCC to find the status of your eligibility. Since your AoR is May, your eligibility should be passed by now. This is a good time to request your GCMS notes. However, give it some time so that your biometrics can be updated.

NOv 27 : application got differed due to pending criminality few minutes after COPR was issued as per GCMS {it also mentions security and criminality (pending Biometrics) was cleared way back in September}

Feb 24 : IRCC call Centre agents confirmed Criminality approved

March 2: IRCC call center said Final decision was approved last week and landing has been done, but she is not sure why COPR was not issued and told they have emailed the specific Department for the same
