It seems like they've been pushing through with December applicants quicker than the others lately.... best wishes for your friend. My close friend who is sponsoring his wife from same country. He applied 2 months before me (in oct), he did not get his AOR yet after sending it in second time
No, it's not complete... it will show "in progress" if the Sponsor is complete it will show "decision made." Same for PA.Posting of behalf of friend. Sent application 12 December. Received 14 December. ECAs shows application received yesterday. Any idea what does application received and why it’s showing on ECAs online. Is it complete?
So both sides show application received. It doesn’t show its in process yet . Any idea? No, it's not complete... it will show "in progress" if the Sponsor is complete it will show "decision made." Same for PA.
You can always call for clarificationSo both sides show application received. It doesn’t show its in process yet . Any idea?
Yes, I'm not sure about that, because I thought it only came up on eCAS after AOR. Once you receive AOR it's my understanding they start working on the application. So both sides show application received. It doesn’t show its in process yet . Any idea?
Yes I thought too because there is no point if it’s incomplete and should show up of ECAs.Yes, I'm not sure about that, because I thought it only came up on eCAS after AOR. Once you receive AOR it's my understanding they start working on the application.
For biometrics Select "Permanent resident" option instead of PR card. You will get correct answer.By the way, I am checking the "Do you need to give BioMetrics"
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp
I chose did not give biometrics in the pass, choose country, then choose Permanent resident card, and it says:
Answer: You don’t need to give your biometrics.
I guess my country's PA does not require it?
But for "do i require medical exam"
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-temporary-residents/country-requirements.html
My country does require it. And i'm lucky there is a city close to where my PA lives that does Medical Exams

Mostly not yet. Some who got AOR in Feb got their SA at the same time, i think they got MR too. Those of you got AORs in Feb, did you get SA (spouse approval yet?). Most applications before got their SA in a few days after AOR, it's been 4 days and my spouse eligibility says it's still being reviewed. How long should I expect?
No, mine says in process but it's only been 1 day. Those of you got AORs in Feb, did you get SA (spouse approval yet?). Most applications before got their SA in a few days after AOR, it's been 4 days and my spouse eligibility says it's still being reviewed. How long should I expect?

There is no set timeframe to get SA few days after AOR1. Yes it's true most people get it the same week as AOR1. But sometimes it's longer. Those of you got AORs in Feb, did you get SA (spouse approval yet?).
