27K CEC - Any updates for CEC aor sept - oct - nov?

Since there was this huge draw this morning of 27 000 CEC, I was wondering if IRCC have the resources to keep working woth our PR files....

Please udpate here if your are a CEC, aor of september, october, november. Mine is october 10th, haven't seen no changes since.....december...even november I would say. Thanks

July here. No movement on my file from 8th Oct (biometrics completed).

Now everyone is eligible as long as he’s under CEC, maybe they can process eligibility faster. Before they have to check CEC+language+education+others, now they can simply check CEC (degree or work) and pass.

Don’t be surprised if you don’t see any movement. Most CEC applications in the first half of 2020 are still open and no decisions have been made yet.

IRCC has been saying for months that they’re investing in tech and other resources to process the applications, but we still delays so I’m curious to see how are they going to process 27k applications, that’s like more than 6 times the average draw size. Are they expecting to complete these apps before 2021 ends, when there are 2020 CEC applications that have reached 1 year anniversary already?

That is a big concern! We all need our PR to for example get another job!

True!! I’m an April 2020 AOR myself. Gave bio on October. Approved in November per GCMS notes, but didn’t get my COPR until last week.

The announcement said that the invitations would be sent between 13 and 14 Feb. So it’s a matter of time. It might take longer as it’s a huge draw, but you’ll get it!
