Some don’t receive PAL even though eligibility passed.Hello friends, i have a question after reading the thread. I am highly confused.
Do inland applicants get PAL?? If yes then what is the time frame to get PAL after AOR??
I see some people saying inland they do get PAL while others says they dont!!
Although there is not point of getting Pre-arrival letter because we are already in canada i see some apllicants get PAL aftet 1 month of AOR and some get it aftet 7 months
My AOR is 29th january and i didnt get any PAL till now
Same day of my AR: August 11No i mean when immigration received your file?
I don’t mean the whole application or all the stages ,I mean only until the eligibility stage, if the case was like you mentioned above you would have already got PAL or passed eligibility by now as you are inland so that’s why I say it has something to do with our province which nominated usThe notice "We’re prioritizing applications from people who are exempt from travel restrictions." release on Jan/28 2021.

I am from albeta.. waiting for AOR.. but AR is aug 24Everyone getting AOR but my AR is 31 JULY, 2020 province is Alberta but still even didn't get my temporary AOR. Is anybody from Alberta still waiting for AOR who's AR is in JULY 2020....?????
Raised around the same time as you and haven’t received a reply eitherI have raised one on Jan 11 but didn't get reply uet. So little bit worried.
ok so we receive PAL only after eligibillity passed! Some they get it and some they dont! Not sure of the answer but general consensus is that PAL is received automatically after eligibility passes. Not very sure if the system checks if it's inland or Outland applicant. I was outland when I got PAL. One friend of mine got PAL although he applied from inland.
It's better to assume eligibility is pending until you get PAL. The most definitive way to know the answer is to call IRCC or raise GCMS notes.
In any case, expecting PAL/eligibility pass for Jan 2021 AOR is highly wishful thinking.
I have a question, If i am nominated via sinp or any other province, and submit paper based PR. Can i come to Canada on some type of temp. resident visa while I wait for the decision to be made? And if so what type of resident visa would that be.OINP Nominated: Dec 11 '19

Can you please share the number you call them on? Thank youI call them more than 10 times every week I call them to ask about my temporary number but they always said showing nothing in system.
Yes you can. For example, if nominated by OINP, you get a work permit support letter from Ontario and you can apply for a closed work permit using that support letter. LMIA is not required in this case.I have a question, If i am nominated via sinp or any other province, and submit paper based PR.
