wow. I applied under the French speaking skilled worker stream and no updates yet, I am also on submit status.
I'll share my timeline in case of movement

Hello! We got an NOI for the french speaking skilled worker stream on NOV 4 and we submitted our application on NOV 12. To this day our application status is still 'submitted' and we've sent them an inquiry email to check on the progress of our application and if the delays are normal due to the COVID but to no avail. Normally the processing time is between 30 to 60 days but today is the 70th day and still nothing changed : (

wow. I got the NOI on 4th November too but submitted on 10th December. to date no change. It seems like the processing of 30 - 60 days is effective from the time your file moves to assessment. They are quite slow at the moment

We are applying as common law and we know a couple who got their NOI(on an earlier date) and got accepted within 60 days of submitting their application and I read a lot of threads that suggest that applicants should get a final response within 60 days.
The only reason we're a little bit anxious about this is because Ontario is still issuing NOI's on a regular basis. So the question is; is it possible that the province is still receiving new applications while old ones are still pending?

We are applying as common law and we know a couple who got their NOI(on an earlier date) and got accepted within 60 days of submitting their application and I read a lot of threads that suggest that applicants should get a final response within 60 days.

I think it is possible. Others may be more knowledgeable about it. Having seen some threads here, the processing time is on case by case basis. I have seen some who took less time others more than the 60 days

I Got NOI on 15th December and submitted on 16th January.
Just wanted to know if they have started assessment for ppl who submitted around Dec

We just had our application status changed after 80 days from submitted to assessment but there seems to be a red icon next to our file number indicating that something is missing in our application so we pressed on it to check what was missing and it said that our application is complete and all we have to do now is wait for the decision and above that there is a request date with today's date and a due date tomorrow so we went in and checked all our application again to see if anything is highlighted in red or missing and everything seems to be in order. I don't know why there is a red icon though...

I have seen in previous thread that it is normal . The red icon will disappear after some time

It should ideally clear up soon. Others applicants have also mentioned this often. Hope the message confirms that no action is pending from your side, if so you are good to go.

Thanks! It did clear up and we got the blue icon today. We just have to wait now
So far we got the NOI on NOV 4 2020, Submitted on NOV 12, Status Changed to 'assessment' on FEB 3 2021 (84 days from the date of submittal)
