My spouse applied for Sowp and when she did log in yesterday at that time her ircc profile was updated/ submitted. But everything on her IRCC account was same as earlier. So Does it mean good sign for approval?
She applied for SOWP on 19 th Sep 2020 and after that not a singal update on her file.

It is not bad/good sign. I know it's very weird and same thing happened on my wife's account as well. I think it is more because of some technical glitch. If you clear your browser history or open your account in new browser or open your account after some time, it will be changed again to "SUBMITTED" instead of "Profile updated".

Always check the full status update page and the final decision section. I know how it feels and I did not like this game as well from IRCC

Please update when you get travel authorisation for your wife ? I have also applied the same on 24th December 2020. I want to know what is the average approval time taken for Authorisation Letter ?

I am currently a Full-time international student in Canada.

My wife got her SOWP refused TWICE due to missing documents, then with the help of professional consultant I made the case stronger and reapplied for her SOWP. Below is the timeline. Biometrics and Medical was already done (No issue)

Application made from India - Online
Applied on - 17th July
Applied for webform for inquiry on - 6th Nov

Medical not updated, no decision received, no web form reply received till date.

Lot of people are in the same boat, hope for the best for everyone!

Hi everyone, have been silently following this forum but i want to submit my application first week in February, i just need some help on LOE , and options of family ties, if any guru can help , i will be glad, my wife is 2 month pregnant and she is already traveled to Canada earlier this month, should i include that we are expecting a baby in my letter ? i need help , if possible a sample of letter and list of documents i will need to proof my home ties

My wife applied to a study permit on September 20 and I applied for the SOWP at the same time. Last week she got her study permit approved and I received a letter with an authorization for exemption to travel but no SOWP approval yet. I´m confused, how come I get an authorization to travel before my visa being approved first ? Has anybody experienced something similar ??

I've seen similar cases last December 2020 wherein OWP received travel exemption letter first and after a few days their PPR. Congratulations!
