If this is from Deloitte, they're an approved employer, and they still want his personal credentials? It's a bit odd, he signed your PEF form, right?

It might not show up because you've already closed that employment duration. You can try opening it and re-sending.

Yeah, EY is an approved employer, but not Deloitte.
Hi Nishreen
Even I applied for Membership last week and my application is on hold. I never received any email for further documents. Don't know if they have contacted the mentor who signed my PER or not. Btw I've emailed them for the reason but still no response.
Let me know if you get any news.

Hi Hannan,

I intend to apply for immigration too. Any chance you can share your details for our guidance.
Your experience can be really helpful to me as i am in the same boat.

Thanks
Hi Irfan,
I just read your message. Thanks for the clarification regarding the CPA process. The process for immigration is fairly simple. You need to give Ielts and get your ECA from WES. Once this is done U will get your ITA and u'll have to submit your documents. The wait time after AOR is really stressful(disclaimer).
Lemme know if you wanna know about anything in specific.
Thanks

Hi Hannan,

They emailed me saying that my supervisor had not uploaded his membership details. i got him to do it subsequently, and have informed ACCA about the updation. I am yet to hear from them.

HI @Fhussain @LadyMacbeth @Irfan247 , I too am a recent ACCA member and have a B.COM from India which has been recognized as 3 year Graduate degree from WES, Just a couple of questions and would be grateful if you could answer, A - Should I apply with a 3 year BCOM as i read somewhere in the thread that they require 4 years and B - Should I first apply for a standard WES course by course Evaluation as it takes lesser time and also has the ICAP option available which for some reason is not available in the ECA my friend got for IRCC, whenever we try to upgrade his report to course by course, it advises to start a new application because of "Previous selections"

Thanks, your advise will be highly appreciated.

Bro could you help guide me through the application on WES. The one for immigration was done by my consultant so I’m fairly new to this.
I’ve clicked on upgrade report to standard course by course. Purpose I’ve selected is licensing - accounting and finance related fields.
When I come to the end of my application it asks the mailing option to recipients, i.e. me and CPA via standard or international courier. I cannot see that it is delivered to CPA electronically anywhere. From what I understand it is to be made available for CPAs electronic access correct?
I Did not get this option, for me it said you have to start a new application due to previous selections, so should i go for a new standard evaluation and then get it converted to ECA for IRCC

Hi @Fhussain, Can i directly start my application with a standard WES course by course evaluation as it has the ICAP option and takes lesser(7 days) time and then upgrade it to ECA for IRCC (35 days) or make a new application for IRCC later as i am in no rush to apply for Immigration, but want to complete my application before the Expiry of this MRA

Thanks in Advance.

Hi .. I do not know answer to your question but my wife's experience might be useful in this context.

My wife is working towards her ACCA, she is not able to sit on her remaining paper due to Covid-19 pandemic (exams are being cancelled since March 2020 and there is no news when they will continue to have one). So, my wife has not apply for MRA with CPA.

However, when she came to Canada sometime 6 years ago, she tired to access her transcript from India, 3 years B.Com in Accounting, considering an option to join CPA as a student. Back then CPA Ontario used to access applicant transcripts via email. Conclusion is CPA Ontario accepted that her 3 years B.Com degree is enough to fulfill their degree requirement.

Im not sure of the answer to your first questions.

2. The WES for IRCC is the highest form of evaluation. You can select the standard course-by-course evaluation and start a new application by using your earlier degree. WES will automatically upgrade your package to ICAP. You don't need to send transcripts again. I just did it on Jan 18, and after one week they confirmed the upgrade and that the report would be ready by Feb 1.

No you cant. Cause ICAP is an upgrade from a previous evaluation. If you have the one for IRCC, then you can upgrade. I'm not sure of the timeline if you directly apply for ICAP.

Thanks @Nishreen however i have not started any Wes application, just needed guidance on which to go for, the above question was based on one of my friend's application which he is unable to upgrade as it says cannot upgrade to course by course due to previous selections,

So once again my final question would be should i go for the faster option or go for ECA for IRCC and then try my luck
