Hello everyone,
@legalfalcon
Just called IRCC.
Agent told me everything(eligibility, criminally and security) is positive in your file.
And file is transferred to local visa office for final review.
Does that means everything is passed and just wait for COPR?
I asked him again "is everything approved?"
He answered me same "everything is positive".
Thanks
Yes, seems like you are almost there.

Hi Everyone and @legalfalcon
I called IRCC last night again,
My AOR was 6th October, 2020
Medical was passed on 23rd November, 2020
Biometric done on 22nd December, 2020
The agent said that my eligibility passed on 10th December, 2020
My Criminality was passed on 22nd December, 2020
My info sharing is also passed.
Security has not started yet.
My profile's BGC is saying that we are processing your background check.... from the day 1, no changes there.
Does that mean my eligibility is conclusively passed?
As the Security is not yet started, how long it could take?
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance

See see if your eligibility is passed or not, see #4,004

The BGC refers to criminality and security. This is why the BGC status changes twice during the processing of the application. Since your AoR is Oct, it may be very likely that criminality, info sharing is done and eligibility is in progress or recommended passed. Once Eligibility is passed, the BGC will be in progress again.

To read on security and BGC see https://bit.ly/2JPCk2g

As per IRCC's annual 2019 annual report it takes 8-9 months for an application to process. This was pre-COVID
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/annual-report-parliament-immigration-2019.html

How long did it take to process an Express Entry application?
Table 35 displays the time, in months, that IRCC took to process 80% of applications under each program. In 2019, IRCC did not meet the processing standard of finalizing 80% of all applications sourced via Express Entry within six months. The processing time for Express Entry, overall, was eight months. As an alternative measure of processing times, 60% of applications finalized in the 12-month period ending on December 31, 2019, were completed within the six-month service standard.

Data is operational and as such should be considered preliminary and subject to change.

  • Processing times refer to the time in which 80% of applications were finalized by IRCC. The processing time is measured from the day a complete application is received until the time a final decision is made by an immigration officer.

Hi,

I have applied for PR and received the AOR on October 26th and finished Biometrics and medicals.

I recently travelled to India on January 2nd and returned on January 20.
Question:
Is my submitted PCC invalid?
Do I have to get a new PCC?

@legalfalcon
Thanks

My VO is Calgary. Spoke to them today and they mentioned that they have started Eligibility check and Background Check. Is your eligibility check passed? Thank you!
I didn't ask about the Eligibility. I'll call them again probably today to confirm.

I basically called them to confirm what would happen if I'm in India when the COPR comes and was discussing different scenarios.
