Based on description of Security here https://gcmsnotes.com/all-about-security-screening/, mine might be stuck in "advanced check" which might take a WHILE, that would be pretty brutal, waiting for a year :\

Submitted request to CBSA notes, hopefully they clear something up.
If there's no movement by February, i'll ask local MP to escalate this, Security taking 1-2 years would be ridiculous.
So scared...

Some extreme cases that hang on security over two years: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/our-application-took-more-than-2-years-hang-in-there.568925/
I'm not trying to scare you. I know many of the applicants they got DM pretty soon and they're still on security not started. Don't worry to much.
Example timeline I saw somewhere else Stream PNP outland | VO CIO Sydney Nova Scotia | AOR - 25th Dec 2018 | Criminality Passed, Eligibility MET by Feb 2019 - Passed by Sept 2019, Security not started| Remedical passed September 29th 2019 | PPR: November 18th 2019

I have submitted my Upfront medical in September, I got a medical request today. Do I need to give medical again or just upload eMedical receipt again in webform?

Has anyone got a medical request again recently

Please suggest. Thanks

Oh interesting, that's encouraging, thank you!
Hoping it's indeed the case since it's "Not started" and not stuck in "In Progress"

Yes, appreantly the system will still issue the medical request if upfront is done but not passed yet.
I also got medical request today, though I already given upfront medical in September. What should I do, give medical again or just share eMedical again via webform? Please suggest. Thanks

Did your check your ECAS and CIC web? What is your current medical status? Did you submit a webform after your've done your medical? IMO, it will never hurt to send them a webform to acknowledge them again. They won't blacklist you anyways.

Thanks, I shared eMedical through the webform. I will share it again. I called IRCC in November and they confirmed that they received medical receipt. I will again call them tomorrow.
