Hi All, Hope you all are doing well. Happy new year.

I have just calculated my CRC and it showed me 430 points. As my occupation falls under NOC-2281 and I am a CCIE Network Engineer. So May you please suggest anything which I can do to improve my CRC? Like for which province I need to go to apply as I am not able to find it accurately? Your help would be appriciated.

Hi All,

My CRS score is 468 and I have entered into the pool in July 2020. I received NOI from Ontario under FSW and received a nomination this month. I have deadline until Jan 5th to accept or reject the nomination in my express entry profile.

Recent 2 draws under express entry had CRS cutoff until 469 and 468 (applicants submitted profile before June 2020). There should be another draw 1 day later of my deadline to accept nomination from Ontario on January 6th and if goes to 468, I am expecting I will receive an ITA this time without accepting nomination from OINP.

1) Can anyone let me know if we can ask for extension of deadline to accept or reject nomination in express entry profile?
2) If we accept the nomination, is it possible to reject later and enter into normal pool with original CRS score 468? This gives an option to reside anywhere in Canada and not restricting to Ontario province.

What do you think is better option? Any suggestions are welcome.

FYI: My IELTS score is valid until end of April,2020

Hi, I m in same boat with 468 july submission date and received OINP but it says that deadline to apply is 45days? Where do you see 5th Janas deadline?

Please can I put my spouse as unaccompanying on EE profile then put spouses accompanying of my Ontario profile. With my wife, I have 456, without I will have 462.

So is it possible for me to accept the ontario invite and make the 1500CAD payment to get the 600point and later edit my EE profile to spouse accompanying before getting ITA

Will there be any issue ?

Also, my wife is primary applicant and her job duties matches with 2174 but education is not. In that noc it says usually required. She has around 3 years experience in this field and we have drafted a cover letter stating what she has done. Will that be having any issue with oinp?

You need to submit reference letters and payslips only, cover letter is not required. Just follow the HCP document checklist

Already shared job duties bank statements n payslips which match the noc 2174. Just education is a concern

Education matching NOC is not required, the most important thing is to prove work experience for the NOC OINP sent you the NOI.

Received OINP NOI - October 15, 2020
OINP Application Submitted - November 6, 2020
OINP Application Status Changed to Assessment - December 22, 2020
Current Status - Waiting for the next update from OINP

Is the 30-60 days processing time from the date of application submission or from the date when the status changes to "Assessment"?

Query Reg Ref letter

My last employer HR refused to issue Ref Letter.
But one of senior in that last company agreed to issue me Ref letter on company letter head and will attach his employee card along with letter head.

Will this will Ref letter be accepted by IRCC?
(means refusal from hr and ref letter both should be attached )

I have seen that the work permit is a quick process, or at least way faster than the PR.

Hii everyone
I wanted to share my profile and want an opinion and my chances for getting a NOI in OINP SKILLED TRADE STREAM.
I have 1.5 years experience in NOC 7311 and my file is currently in pool with a score of 428 my ielts score is 7,7,7.5,8.5.
I was unlucky twice when the draw dropped to 400 in june last year at that time my score was 400 to be exact i had less bands and then the draw went to 436 in november when my ielts score went to triple 7 and 8.
Do u think should i wait for another draw for the stream in 2021 or should i try something else?
