What all documents are required ?

For those lucky ones who get the PGP 2020 invitation to apply, please read the guides. Some of the form even have their own guides on top of the inline instructions in the form, so please read everything in detail. Last thing you want is to have your application returned as incomplete.

Hi Guys,

Received invitation to apply yesterday for PAGP 2020, my question is, who do you appoint as a primary applicant in the application? Does primary applicant needs to be working at a time of this application? In my case, I have my father(retired), mother(working as a primary school teacher) and my sister(dependent). Any suggestions?

i think we are done, for those who haven't got emails. chances decreased from 5% to 1% now

It doesnt matter if they are working or not.

You can put either parent as principal.

thank you .I do have one more question, in IMM008 Generic form, what should I put down for question 3, How many family members,, including you, are in this application?

I sponsored my wife last year and I am going to be a Sponsor my parents and a sister, so should I put it down as 3(parents and sister), 4(parents, sis and my wife) or 5?

Yeah I remember you being around all those years back.

I missed the 2016 Courier FIFO. Started applying in 2017. All lottery. Never got selected for 1st round 2017, 2nd round 2017, 1st round 2018, 2nd round 2018.

Then 2019 became FIFO. And I got a spot.

Just wondering if anyone here has been trying since 2017 and still hasn't been successful?

Here. Have been trying since 2017 still no luck. To be honest, this whole experience has been rather humiliating since there's nothing you can do to improve your odds.

At 10% win rate every year, almost 66% of people who wanted to sponsor in 2017 are still no luck by 2020, since the lottery does not take into consideration results/interest from pervious years. I personally don't see how this is fair.

There was that one chance in 2019 where you could do something to try to increase your odds.

You need to include your children in the calculation.

Actually the answer is 3 to question #3 of IMM008 to your question. Your parents and sister. Remember the IMM008 is based on applicant (father) applying for PR through PGP. So the applicant (father) which "including you, "the father" and and his dependents, (wife and your sister). They are the ones applying for PR.

It's 3. Not 5. The IMM008 is for applicants applying for PR through PGP. You list your spouse and any kids of your own in the IMM5768 financial evaluation form to total 5.
