HELP!!I SUBMITTED AN ONLINE APPLICATION BUT DID NOT GET A CONFIRMATION NUMBER

I submitted an online application yesterday and after the submission a page said Congratulations, you will get your confirmation number within a few hours. But it has been almost 24 hours I did not get messages or anything there. This is so frustrating. I uploaded all the documents required and then paid the application fee but not getting no confirmation number or application number.

Does it take more processing time to get a confirmation number or application number if you applying for study permit online?? Please let me know how much time did it take to get your confirmation number please

This is strange..

your UCI number and application number is generated instantly.. U should have recvd a letter as a pdf in ur CIC account that very instant (after paying the online fees)

The letter begins as "This confirms that your application for temporary residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration
Canada (CIC) on XXXXXXX "

On top there is ur UCI and Application number.
It shud be there so better check again..

No there is no confirmation number, nothing. I do not know what happened, I paid the fee then comes a screen you will get a confirmation number in a few hours.

It is showing the application is completed, what is seems to be the problem I have no idea. No number is still generated.

Should I launch another application or send the application directly to the visa office?

Till then you can send a mail out to CIC and explain your situation..

applying again will further complicate things..

did u get a confirmation recipt after your payment ?
there will be a number on it.. did u print it and keep it?

scan that recpt n attach it with your mail.. that is ur only file number right now..

For your own peace of mind, it would have been wise to print this page using the Print option of your web browser... (Ctrl+P) I looked through my files and have printed that page as a PDF. It says: "Please print two copies of this receipt, send one to Citizenship and Immigration Canada and keep one for your records. If you have chosen to do your payment through your Online Application, you do NOT need to send a copy of the receipt to CIC."

Other than this, you should also receive a message in your MyCIC account when you have successfully submitted your online application. In MyCIC, at the bottom of the page, under "My Messages", there should be a link with the text "Submission Confirmation". If you don't have this, I think you should contact CIC... I got that message very soon after submitting the application online.

Exactly, the confirmation page does not have a print option. It just shows online payment confirmation and receipt number. Please check your MyCIC account for submission confirmation.

That seems to be the problem, It is showing my application is complete but I did not get any confirmation number or application number anything in my CIC account or my email address. It has been a whole day I did not get any response. In my CIC account it only shows my application is complete.

My class starts from January 6th, I have to get a student visa before that. So I was in a hurry and applied online. Still got no confirmation!

i submitted my online application to CIC after which i received the receipt and the mail stating that NO documents must be sent through courier,does this mean that i should not send the required documentsand my passport that i have uploaded in my online application office to CIC.Iam applying in USA.Please reply

However, in my case, there is just "Confirmation of Online Application Transmission" and no "Submission Confirmation".

OMG, I have the exact same problem!!! I have submitted a study permit extension application on Dec 13 but until now I don't have submission confirmation letter only have Confirmation of Online Application Transmission. Can you update if you have solved this problem or who should we contact? Thanks!!

Hi Guys!
I will call IRCC today and will update you on what they have said. I found another guy from Serbia who is having the same issue, he submitted his application on 15th December.
But at least we are not alone, I believe there is some technical issue with their website.

Anyway, I will update you after calling them.
