under my "background check" it says "we are currently processing your background check" and under "eligibility review" it says "we are currently reviewing your eligibility"

Applied Sept 25
PGWP - 1 Year Masters - Vancouver, BC
Just saw my application today and it was approved for 3 years

Thank you all

Congrats of getting a 3-year permit from a 1-year program! Is your program originally more than one year long but you finished early? As I thought the 1 year program can only get 1 year permit.

Congrats. I am in the same boat waiting for the final decision. Applied on Oct 6th from New Brunswick.

Hi! I know how frustrating it can be. My timeline is following:

Applied PGWP: Sep 29th, 2020
No Correspondence Letter
Approved for 3 years: Dec 15th, 2020

I hope you all get your final decision soon.

No it is only 1 year program as it said on the offer letter, but in the letter of explanation I said it was 2 years,

Applied: 6th October 2020 (No biometrics)
Approved: 16th December 2020

1 Year Masters( <=> 2 Years) = 3 Years Open Work Permit
