Hmm... they are cutting into September applications now. Good Good Good!Received WP approval notification today which was dates 4 Dec.
Applied date 3 sep inland.
Congrats. Good to see all these approvals within 3 months.I checked my application status earlier today and found that it had been approved yesterday. I received an email about it just a few minutes ago (i.e. one day after change of status). There is currently no new message or document attached.
To give those waiting for theirs a sense of the timescale: it was a job-specific work permit extension, and I applied on the 8th of September online from within Canada. I received approval on the 7th of December. I presume my permit will arrive in the mail over the next few days or so.
Edit: I have also now received a document to inform me that it has been approved and that I should expect the new WP in the mail.
Did you apply for work permit and trv together?? I thought we can't apply for trv before bowp approval ??Hi Team
Please help
I just received the letter for -
Passport Request: " This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on
your application. We require your passport to finalize processing your application.
and Biometric Confirmation letter - all are valid till 2030
Please let me know - can I consider this as an approved work permit? and I just need to stamp in mt passport?
Thanks!
Yup saw that... The real processing time is perhaps closer to 90-105 days.@San1234_ind Officially it's 63 days. But, based on the findings in this portal it seems to be completed in span of 5 weeks (includes application approval and getting the passport).
I believe you need to wait for the document to apply for SIN. Can you share your timelines. My wife's SOWP was approved yesterday and the approval letter was uploaded on the account today. I understand that the official permit will arrive in the mail.
My question is can we apply for a new SIN now? Or do we have to wait for the document before we can do that so that she can resume her work?
You need to wait for the document because Service Canada only accepts the original document which comes in mail. I hope it helps. My wife's SOWP was approved yesterday and the approval letter was uploaded on the account today. I understand that the official permit will arrive in the mail.
