Hi members any one here who applied extend your stay as a visitor ( Visitor Record ) online in June / July 2020 get any response from IRCC

I applied in may for my parents but haven’t heard back from ircc yet. They sent a biometrics letter back in may too but ask the service Canada locations are closed. Also ircc has provided an exemption from submitting biometrics if applying from Canada.

Applied for extension in August. No communication till now.

I submitted Visitor Record application in June 2020. Nothing change until yet.
I do not know what happen CPC Edmonton. Do their system freeze already?

At the time filing of extension application some one ask for 6 months more extension let’s say some one applied in June 01, 2020 and ask for extension Dec 01,2020

Does by law applicant have to reapply again before Dec 01,2020 one more application to extend stay as visitor even last Jane 2020 application still pending ...
plz answer this if any one knows about this law or rule of ircc for extend stay application

You have to wait till here from ircc. No need to reapply if you haven't got a response yet.

I applied for the visitor record for my mother in June.
Gt biometrics request 3 days after submission but she is exempted as per the new temp policy for temp residents in Canada.
Ghost update in mycic account but no email.

I applied for my mom in June 2020. Nothing yet, except biometric which is exempt right now anyways. We’re wondering too if we need to apply again for another extension?

Same boat here. Nothing we can do. Just wait for a response. I applied in May 2020.

It's like 6 months from the date of expiry of the original six months (minus 2 weeks)
