Validity of Work Permit visa

HI,
I have sent my passport for visa stamping recently for work Permit. But my passport validity is till august 2022. And my Job offer is valid for 2 years. And I cant renew my passport validity before one year of its expiry. So I will get visa for only 1 year and 8 months only.

To the best of my knowledge, visas/permits are not issued beyond the validity of your passport.

To the best of my knowledge, visas/permits are not issued beyond the validity of your passport.

Permits are issued for the duration of your contract. But visa is issued for the duration of your remaining passport validity. You can apply for a new TRV after you get your new passport.
