Hello anapaulap, I'm also from Mexico. Inland applicant.

This is my timeline:

App Submitted: September 4, 2018
AOR: November 5, 2018
PCC Request: January 14, 2020
Pre-Arrival Email: January 15, 2020
Medical (Upfront): July 17, 2020
Medical Passed: August 11, 2019
PCC Submitted: September 1, 2020
Your timeline is similar, I applied two months before you. My PCC from Mexico took also a long time -about four months. I submitted the Canadian PCC upfront.
IRCC confirmed they received the Mexican PCCs on early April but no news since then. I only know they started the criminal screening in August and nothing has changed since. Hope we will have news soon!

Hi All
We received an email from the immigration office yesterday
Asked:
Can we land in Canada in 60 days? and can we book an air ticket?
Does this show we have a pass request?

I don't understand why Quebec cannot become part of the Express Entry - Provincial Streams. It is just so easy and efficient approach.

Why do we even apply paper-based in the first place? I think there are so man questions that those politicians cannot answer.

So many protests and questions...but they cannot directly answer the simple question "why" it takes 26 months for QSWP where as express entry takes 6 months.

Does anyone have any idea about how much the additional 7000 quote will speed up in months?

https://www.ledevoir.com/politique/canada/589643/immigration-quebec-corrige-le-tir-il-y-aura-rattrapage

Based on an exchange of emails and a phone conversation with the office of the Minister of Immigration, Nadine Girault, Le Devoir wrote on Thursday that Quebec's immigration targets would remain the same in 2021 , from 44,500 to 47 500 people, and that this would have the consequence of further reducing Quebec's share of Canadian immigration. The promised "catch-up" of 7,000 people would not add to these targets, we wrote. This is ultimately not the case. The minister's office admitted in Thursday afternoon to be wrong. "The information transmitted by the firm following the request of Le Devoirwere unclear and confusing and we are sorry. Quebec will effectively increase the number of admissions scheduled for 2021 by 7,000, for a revised total of 51,500 to 54,500.

Finally received COPR with passport today. A very long journey coming to an end. 5 years 8 months for CSQ and 20 months in federal processing…almost like a double graduation. COPR validity till March. Hope for some ease in restriction early next year. Everyone having hard time but we need some more patience. Thank you everyone for all the guidance & support. Good luck to all. Stay safe.

For federal stage after CSQ can we submit PCC upfront with the application or do we only have to submit it when requested by immigration officer? Just wanted to know the feasibility if that helps to save some time.

Thank you

Unless the PCC is valid for more than 3 months (most are valid for 3 months only), then I do not recommend it. To be on the safe side, wait until IRCC asks you to send them in as the processing times are too long these days. If they expire while your application is still in progress, then you will have to do new ones.
