You can travel by road in a private car, not anything commercial. So, no buses or trains.I called IRCC and one answer I got that I can travel back by road without PR card/with COPR. Is anyone has experienced with this? I just do not want to take any risk or stuck in USA.
That's standard. My wife's in the status since Sep-15. Hope you get your's soon.HI Guys,
Just checked my status. It says "Decision Made" but when I go inside it says the following:
Permanent Resident Card
- We received your application for a permanent resident card on August 18, 2020.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 5, 2020.
- We started processing your application on November 5, 2020.
It is my understanding as well that you can return by road to Canada using COPR. PR card is needed when travelling by a commercial carrier. I am sure someone here will respond that they have done it.I called IRCC and one answer I got that I can travel back by road without PR card/with COPR. Is anyone has experienced with this? Yes you can do this without issues. Copr is enough to get you back in at the land border via private vehicle. PR cards are required to board a flight or commercial carriers.I called IRCC and one answer I got that I can travel back by road without PR card/with COPR. Is anyone has experienced with this? I have done it a few times when my PR card was expired.Yes you can do this without issues. Copr is enough to get you back in at the land border via private vehicle. PR cards are required to board a flight or commercial carriers.
