AOR what I understand just means they received docs and number is allocated in system . Document verification should follow in coming days .Hi,
I received my AOR's Today. Please update.
Does it mean they have reviewed all docs already ? Actually I am in doubt for 1 of teh language doc for my wife. So can I assume receivign AOR means they have reviewed doc and all good ?
ok, Thanks.AOR what I understand just means they received docs and number is allocated in system . Document verification should follow in coming days .
Family application is not an issue. Our application package reached there on 8th June and got family AOR on 13 Oct.Hello Everyone,
My Application (Family) reached CIC on 16 June and I am still awaiting for any feedback.
I have noticed a trend for the AOR is delayed for following Applications
a) if you have applied from Toronto &
b) Incase you have submitted your Application together i.e. Family Application.
I have noticed this trend since Jan 2020.
Any Inputs on the same.
They are definitely skipping applicants and will most likely come back to us just like they did with Feb and Mar applicants. A lot of us June applicants are still waiting, including myself. Mine was received Jun 2. Some June 1, 2, 3 and 4 applicants received AORs while some didn't. It's hard to predict a trend right now, seems random. It could just be how applications were distributed between officers and some are at different stages in their reviews@melito hi. In July they are jumping to July 6, i am July 2 and did not get AOR. Do u think i am in next batch or they give AORs randomly
They do a completeness check before issuing an AOR. If a document is missing, they return the application package. Sounds like you're good.Hi,

No way to tell for sure when you will get it. I myself am a June 16th applicant and didn't get my AOR yet. They do seem to start from the earliest days within a month but there is an element of randomization to it.@melito hi. In July they are jumping to July 6, i am July 2 and did not get AOR. Application sent on June 16 and still no AOR. I’m worried a bit as I forgot to write my name at the back of the photo. As per my observation, it’s 50/50 chance for the application to be accepted/returned. When I inquire the status through ‘https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do’ I get a response of ‘We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 23, 2020’ (This is AOR - You are good). So can I assume that the application is in process (You can check the status, normally processing will take time than AOR, depends on the que) ?
It's been updated. Thanks melito. Please update in sheet. Thanks very much again!
You should have a second line that says "We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on ...". If so, what date does it say? That should be when you received an AOR.Application sent on June 16 and still no AOR. I’m worried a bit as I forgot to write my name at the back of the photo.
