VFS reopening prediction (Bangladesh, India)

Hello guys,

Let's make a prediction that when VFS can open in Bangladesh and India. Share any update in this thread so that we remain updated.

My prediction says, we can't expect it to open before mid November and an update might be given by this week.

If VFS Bangladesh is to open, they will definitely let us know at least 20 days before reopening.

The situation is very uncertain and unpredictable, though.

I believe they will give us an update by this week. IRCC said, there will not be any two stage approval for Winter intake. If it is then, VFS must need to be opened in order to submit a complete file.

There is already an update on Twitter about VFS in India which are going to remain closed for the month of November.

I think that doesn't mean that they will not open Biometric services. I hope they will open in phases.

I did not know the update, but few students still got AIP for Winter 2021. My very close brother got AIP a few days ago for Winter 2021. However, it was like a new version of AIP. I am worried about the whole situation, brother.

I did not know the update, but few students still got AIP for Winter 2021. My very close brother got AIP a few days ago for Winter 2021. However, it was like a new version of AIP. I am worried about the whole situation, brother.

I also received AIP for winter intake bro. I also have no clue what they are doing. They should give clearity regarding Winter intake.

Bro I don't think we are lucky. The passport service has already started in India but it has not started in Bangladesh yet. Both of our VFS needs the permission from Singapore IRCC in order to reopen, don't think they will open it in Bangladesh before India.

I believe, they will take biometric in phases. They might send invitation letter to those who are from fall intake and also their institutions have covid readiness plan approved.

what about those who submitted their passport in march and yet to receive a final decision on their application?

Depends on which country you are from. If from Bangladesh, then you can ask for GCMS note and can check whether you are full approved or not and you can't expect passport request as Bangladesh VFS hasn't started this. But if you are from India, then you can expect an full approval by this month.

AIP for winter as well? There has been no news about that thought there was no 2 stage bs for winter
