IRCC said it's increased the number of people able to make decisions on spousal applications and hopes to process almost 50,000 applications by December.

I have some data I got from Statistics Canada. Official government statistics. Pre-covid, they were processing 5500 or so spousal category PR applications on average by month ( well close to 5500) . So they're just giving us a lollipop by saying 6000 for three months. It basically translates into going back to a little over average pre-covid processing for 3 months, which really isn't that big a deal if you take into account they have a backlog to clear.

It is not very correct ; they have finished over 2000 apps from MAY to JULY . If it was true then how come no body showing here on any of the spreadsheets or forums. think on it

I can't comment on the authenticity of official public records. I would hope they are correct.

I looked up the tracker. We did have a few updates. Assuming it is representative of a broader update of people who are not on it. Also, perhaps those 2000 include applications from 2019 applicants etc, so there is that.

Number of Failed Registration Attempts Exceeded
For security purposes, you can only try to link an application to your account a maximum of 5 times in 24 hours.
That shows up even if tried 2 times on GCkeys
