Biometrics Needed?

I applied on aug 15 for experienced class express entry and received a letter requesting biometrics today. But I already gave the biometrics for my work permit on 2019 April. I did pay biometrics fees twice(one for work permit application and other for express entry)
Should I give biometrics again?

I have a question , is there anyone who didn't got their biometrics fees refunded back even after getting approved pgwp work permit.
It's been almost 3 months my biometrics fees haven't been refunded.

Hi friend , even I am in same situation . Had my biometric on 2019 for work permit, so how this biometric ID will be mapped/updated for our express entry profile? It still shows me with no biometric details in EE profile , please throw some lite ?

You’ll see the biometrics number once your get medical passed.

Thank you, So I understand, no need to take biometrics again, After I get my medicals done biometrics details will be mapped with my already taken for Work Permit.?

The policy exemption is still in effect, so you won’t need to provide biometrics again. You’ll see your work permit biometrics number. However, some are reporting that even though they’re exempted, their profile still shows that they need to provide bio. The officer has to go in and flip that field to completed.
