The important sections of the GCMS file are (1) Assessment section on page 2 and (2) the "notes" in the last few pages of the file. Have a look at those.Received my GCSM note - Got about 20 notes. Note 1 says it's in CPC-Ottawa. What does this mean?

Is it true the GCMS notes can be [partially] censured, particularly when there were "consultations" before its release (which often indicates sensitive information contained in the files)? The important sections of the GCMS file are (1) Assessment section on page 2 and (2) the "notes" in the last few pages of the file. Thanks, that was helpful. The GCMS notes are released pursuant to the Access to Information Act. When the information is release, some of it can be redacted under various provisions of the Act.
Some of the general provisions under which the informations redacted are:
The test will be removed and the section under which it is removed will be mentioned in the top right corner of the respective page. Thanks, that was helpful.
Redacted means text is obstructed or wiped out completely? In other words, does one get to know that there is missing information (or even "why", in case there is)?
Yes the information in the GCMS notes can be withheld from public disclosure for a variety of reasons. When you receive your GCMS notes the email from IRCC will state something like this. When you see disclosed in part it means information in the file is redacted; either sections within pages or even entire pages. Depending on which Act (Access to Information or Privacy) was used to obtain the GCMS notes the email will mention the relevant section of the Act which was invoked to withhold information. Thanks. Eligibility Review is a multistep process and it's been recommended pass which then will be reviewed by an immigration officer for a decision. When the decision is "passed" your file will move to the next step of Security Screening.ASSESSMENTS

Everything is in order, and if your security is done, then after the final review, which is RFV check (Ready For Visa) check, you will be issued a COPR.
