congrats, can i ask when does your work permit expire?

I will say perhaps it's not to do with that though, as my initial work permit expires November 1 (I applied for my BOWP so am safe for now). I think there must be some other form of "priority" given but I'm not sure what that may be.

Going by that logic would be crazy. My WP expires sept 2021, same with my 16 year old son. So go figure when i'll get call for his bio. Mine is in place since 2016.

I can believe that. Meanwhile Apr AOR in burnaby got called. Surrey to Burnaby is 15-20 mins drive

I think the calls are random so far. Such an arrangement, based on on wps, seems very unlikely

I have the same AOR and BIL as this guy, yet no call. Not to mention Jan and Feb guys.

All we can do is just keep up our hopes high and be patience

Saw a post on fb someone in Vancouver got a call yesterday. Booked for today in Sinclair centre on Hastings. They submitted March 25th and BIL end of May. Keep your phones on loud

Same here. I heard someone from Vancouver received a call. Good for them but this is not fair. Why Service Canada is not following IRCC guidelines? They should have had a better and transparent system in place. For example, allowing people to book an appointment online based on the AOR date rather than being at a mercy of a Service Canada Officer to call.

It says 99%, but it is irrelevant since bio metrics is not even done yet. For feb applicants its already 7 months for some and it doesn't matter since they haven't got their biometrics done yet.

What's your status of application? Did they complete reviewing background, eligibility , etc.?

Also interested in this answer. Mine has had my medical ticked off and said I don't need any more documents but nothing else has changed. I've been at "100% complete" for just under 2 months now. I'm hoping it's just waiting on biometrics being submitted when I eventually get a call and then it will all update at once.

City Burnaby
Got a call at 10 am this morning from SC (No Caller ID) for my wife's biometrics appointment on next Wednesday 9am at Burnaby office.
I have gave biometrics in Jan 2020 so i exempt from it.

Hope you guys all get call soon!
