Age 24, Crs around 440 Noc 2171. What are the chances?
As per OINP website, NOC 2171 is not there in their demand list.
Reference link:
https://www.ontario.ca/page/oinp-tech-draws#:~:text=Tech draws are a new,( IRCC ) Express Entry pool.

List of targeted Notification of Interest (NOI) codes
  • Software engineers and designers (NOC 2173)
  • Computer programmers and interactive media developers (NOC 2174)
  • Computer engineers (NOC 2147)
  • Web designers and developers (NOC 2175)
  • Database analysts and data administrators (NOC 2172)
  • Computer and information systems managers (NOC 0213)
To be eligible for nomination, applicants must demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes. Your application may be refused if you do not demonstrate work experience in one of the eligible NOC codes.

You may want to change your NOC in express entry file based on, if, your roles/ responsibilities meet with any of those that are mentioned above.

Dear Members,
Any predictions for the next OINP draw Tech Draw and Human Capital Priorities stream ( rest of 2020). My NOC is 1122 Professional occupations in business management consulting ) and my husband's NOC is 2173 Software engineers and designers. Both of our's CRS score is 464 and we both will loose marks for our age in Jan 2021.

Really appreciate all the help. Thanks
I guess they are done for this year. The next tech draw should probably be by Mid of Jan 2021
They have rolled out 4.8K nominations so far
On top on that, they have sent NOIs on July (1200)
700 NOIs on August to non-tech NOCs
Now they have invited Students stream - 1300 Nos

Quota has got over exceeded I guess

On the positive side, the number of NOIs give this year (HCP) is considerably lower than the previous year. So we have to wait n watch I guess.
Meanwhile, improve your IELTS

Never say never with Ontario. 2021 is about 3.5months away so I won't rule out at least one more draw before the end of the year.

Hi everyone,

I am new here. Anyway, I have received NOI from OINP on 26 August 2020. But I have applied with non-accompanying spouse. And the only funds I have is in our joint FDR (almost 2 years old) which I can use for settlement funds. Will it be okay if I use these funds for my POF provided that my spouse writes an authorization letter and get it notarized?

Thanks,
Foujia

Thanks for the information but really worried now. I have exhausted all my options and now in first week of Jan both my Husband and I will loose marks for our age. These 2 PNP draw were my only hope.

Hi Guys, I have 4 years experience at first job. I reached out employer today to obtain pay slip. I am selecting the month of Jan and Dec each year as per OINP application guidance (start and end of period)

a) Manager suggested he can print the salary breakup of requested months on 1 page (in form of table) on company letter head and can sign and stamp as this would be easier than issuing separate pay slip for each month which would be 8 pages and greater hassle

b) Further, he agreed to add column in the same table to show the mode of payment is cash or bank. I think this would suffice for the salaries paid in cash (which are 2 only, for the first year)

Is this fine? Please advise
