My current status : PCC has been printed successfully on 13/08/2020.

And updated timeline:
June 29 - application sent to BLS Brampton Canada through Canada Post (along with Canada Post prepaid return envelope)
Jul 2 - delivered but not updated on BLS online tracking
Jul 15 - Received & acknowledged by BLS Canada and asked me to pay Purolator return envelope fee (didn't accept Canada Post return envelope)
Jul 16 - Forwarded to CGI and Status updated as "Processing at Consulate General" on BLS Canada status tracking
Jul 21 - Application received at PSK India and status updated as "PCC application is under review at Passport Seva Kendra" on PSK India site
Jul 23 - Email from passport admin "Initiation of Police Verification Request(s) for your PCC Application File (No. CATxxxxxxxxx)"
Jul 28 - Police verification done at local Police Dept. (Mumbai)
Aug 7 - Status changed to "PCC needs to be collected from RPO" on PSK India site
Aug 12 - Status changed to "PCC application has been granted on 12/08/2020. PCC will be dispatched to the current address of the applicant. The applicant would receive an SMS once the PCC is ready for dispatch." on PSK India site.
Aug 13 - Status changed to “Police Clearance Certificate has been printed successfully on 13/08/2020 and will be dispatched to your current address.”

Thanks this is really good information for tracking the application, I checked my application status its showing as "PCC needs to be collected from RPO", its same status since 18th August, Do i need to contact the Regional Passport Office.? Or its expected time lag. This PCC is major issue primary due to delay at Brampton BLS office, they waited 4 weeks to initiate the application .

Hi Vsurenp: It seems to me that in Gaurav.Projekt case, the status updated after 5/6 days (probably 3/4 business days) to the point where it was granted, printed and even dispatched. In the case of ravalravig, it took a different timeline (click here). Since in your case, its almost the end of 5th day (or 3rd working day), I would suggest to wait till at least 26th August and then follow-up with your Police Station directly.
Sorry that BLS had delayed 4 weeks... That's quite an unfortunate time that you lost. I hope you have enough time to submit your PR application. Keep us updated.. Thanks

Been trying to reach BLS and keep telling me to go through purolator, been trying to get appointment, which seems to be always full. I need PCC before Nov 20 2020. They are charging ridiculous $30 for pick and $30 for drop off for purolator. I bet if I use purolator privately, it will not cost me that much. What do you guys suggest? Is it better to go through BSL purolator option or privately? Is there a way to expedite this process?

I would still advice to go through with that ridiculous BLS-Purolator process... It seems that BLS is not giving priority to other modes of submission/deliveries... And worse, in some cases they asked the applicants to pay again with Purolator for delivery - even after they submitted a "prepaid" return envelope (I mean c'mon - such a scam)! I complained about this whole situation to MEA (and also to BLS)... I would wonder if they even look at our complaints... It is our need of the hour, so you might as well get it done by loosing some of your hard earn money... I wish I had a better answer for you...

I have few questions regarding PCC document checklists.

Can I submit my SIN letter with my present address as a document checklist ? ( In recent document checklist it's mentioned only Driving License and Utilities bills) ?
Or
I need to apply for a driving license ASAP ?

What would be the alternative for above 2? ( can I submit Ontario Govt. ID card ?)

Thanks for you reply, yes I have no choice so I used there postal service. No matter how much you complain it won't get anywhere. Business can charge whatever they want, BLS is playing monopoly and our Indian consulate is supporting them.

As address proof SIN letter/ T4 will also work as confirmed. I went through Purolator and they already picked up the application forms on Friday.

Ok, another problem here. Anyone here with a foreign passport and needed PCC because you held Indian passport. I have never travel to India on foreign passport but only on Indian passport since I was born in India. Now, BLS saying I need to contact CGI to get approval letter that states that they will be able to provide PCC according my former Indian passport. I have been trying to reach CGI and email them, no response. This is just ridiculous, we are having run around. Seriously, this reminds me why Indians wants to leave India because this kind of services we have.

Its really BS..if we are sending documents to BLS then they should contact CGI and get approval letter. after all BLS get contract from Indian government, BLS saying they can not forward my documents to CGI unless we get approval letter.

Anyone came across similar situation as mine? If so, what did you do..thanks!

If I don't get PCC, my PR application will be jeopardize. So mad at Indian services....

I received CAT file number, police verification done 3 weeks back. However at passport seva, when I input my file number with DOB , it says file number couldn't be found. WHat could be the issue ?
