anyone faced the situation where landed as family but only 1 family member received PR card ?
Landing: July 17th (Peace bridge buffalo)
PR card (Secondary applicant) GU: Aug 19th
Approved: Aug 24th
Received: Aug 31st.

waiting for primary applicant and 2 kids. No GU or any updates.. Its 2+ weeks since GU on secondary applicant profile. We landed by land so not required to send any photo, no idea which office is processing PR card.

Is it common?

Similar case. Have not received the card physically but approved for Primary and Secondary applicant but not for Kid.
I am however, an inland candidate and did not do a physical landing at the border.

Need input/suggestions..
Landed virtually by receiving the PR email from Etobicoke office on 2-Jun and sent photos with copr to etobicoke office 10-Jun.
Passport is going to expire on 21-Sep, Meanwhile renewed the passport and received it last week.
Do I need to inform IRCC on passport renewal? does it impact PR card processing?

Hi everyone,
Congratulations to everyone for receiving GUs and PR cards.
Things are moving quite fast for inland applicants as compared to outland applicants.
Landed on 7th April (family of 3) via Niagara land border (outland).
No update (GU) so far, nor getting any concrete answer from IRCC (just the standard copy/paste reply everyone is getting these days).
Will feel really awesome to have the cards in hand soon :)

Hi all,

update in linking my husband’s PR card application- Finally ..... I was able to link it today morning. There was no issue with his place of birth (accepted as it was in his Passport) but since the IRCC officer had misplaced or missed ( no idea how that’s even possible) his application and there was no landing information for him there was a pblm to link his application from our end even after giving multiple tries with the place of birth. So now his application is linked and we have to wait for both of our PR cards.

So incase if the card is not linked I would suggest you guys to call IRCC directly instead of trying it daily for five times. I was so frustrated since I kept trying from July and kept mailing them multiple webforms. So just call them even if it’s a one hour wait to talk to an agent. We suspected it’s not a pblm with his place of birth since his SIN was also delayed. That’s when we decided to call IRCC directly instead of replying to their generic mails

Regarding his SIN, there is still no update whether they have rejected or if his file is still not open but the Service Canada agent said they are missing some info so they haven’t sent his card yet. Don’t know what they mean.Planning to call them this week again.

Bottomline - Call and confirm with the respective office if there is any delay or if you suspect something out of the ordinary because during this pandemic we do not know what can go wrong where with the manual application that the IRCC officers process after we land. It can even be a pblm with the place of birth or they would have not started with your file but confirming is always good:)
