Thanks in Advance.
we have taken medical exam before cic asked and submitted the medical proof to the immigration panel online. Now cic mailed to take the medical exam within 30 days. We asked the medical exam panel to resubmit the reports in the format cic gave but they refused to resend and they even said they will not do medicals again. Can we do medicals in another center?

Don't do the medical again. Send IRCC a copy of the receipt from the medical you have done.

What do you mean by "format cic gave"?

Hello.

I thank you all for helping others and myself in the process of immigrating to Canada. I have applied in the BCPNP- FSW category on May 25, 2017. My background check has been completed as per last GCMS notes. However, security is in process. Today, I was requested to redo medical examination, last time was in 2017 and it has been expired as it's valid for a year only. It's been almost 2 years and I don't know how many months will it take for the PPR, COPR and finally the PR card. I don't mind doing medical again, but I have so many more questions:
  • If I redo my medicals, does it mean the screening is completed? I have requested the GCMS notes, but they have not arrived yet.
  • Can I request the medical reports to be extended?
  • Do you guys recommend I redo the meds or call the Visa Officer for a possible extension?
  • How much time would it practically take from Vancouver to received PPR, COPR and the PR card individually?
  • My criminality check was just passed, will the CIC ask me to resubmit new police certificates?
Would really appreciate your kind help and guidance. Thank you in advance and God bless.

  • The application was received at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia on May 25, 2017.
  • The initial assessment to ensure the applicant's submission is complete, has been finalized on May 25, 2017.
  • The Case Processing Center in Ottawa, Ontario (CPC-O) is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if the applicant meet the eligibility requirements under the class for which they have applied.
    • the eligibility requirements assessment was finalized on October 18, 2017.
  • The medical examination results have expired- asked to re-examine Mar 29, 2019
  • The security verifications now says updated, not like "In Progress"
Not sure how much longer do I have to wait. Any advise or helpful tip would be great and appreciated.

Hello steph-2015
I am not an expert but will try to answer some of your questions.
1. You can do the medicals again and I think your screening is nearly complete.
Why don't you request an extension for the medicals? Try asking extendion. I would have personally preffered not to waste money n time.
2. The e GCMS notes takes 35 days to arrive by email. I think by post it takes longer.
3. Police certificates is valid for 1 yr. As a precautionary measure, in case they ask, I ll sugest you to get new ones even before they ask 4 it.
Because in my country it takes 2 months to get it. Hence you ll save time. If they ask u, u ll hv it already.
I hope this ll help u. Have patience. It's just a matter of time. I m also waiting. I hv waited for 20 months n my security check hs not even started.

Did you take the medical exams or request an extension?

In my case, the exams passed in April 2019, I spoke to the IRCC and they gave me an extension .... now it says that I should pass medical exams in May 2020

Now I have doubts ... will it be that they gave me the extension because there is still a long way to go before they finish?

Or only when they ask you to do the medical exams again, does it mean they will be over? or does this also apply when you get extension?

You’ll be asked to do a medical. It is in your best interest because it is only valid for one year.
Hi if an express entry applicant get married 15 days before EAPR needs to submit marriage and honeymoon photographs or marriage certificate is enough pls asssit thanks
