Okay, thank you. I am curious why people above couldn’t get on board with a valid copr....
If you have a return ticket cancel it, I cancelled my returning flight and changed to one way ticket I paid 60$ extra to do that and lost my returns ticket value, just to avoid any problems from the airline company.

Hi had a return ticket and caused zero problems but I guess can be different depending on the person you get / airline etc. No one asked about a return ticket. Whenever someone asked what I was doing in Canada, i said I was
settling there and had confirmation of pr. The guy checking documents when getting on plane from Amsterdam to Toronto at first insisted I had a job offer and was a bit confused. I told him that as I have a copr I didn't need one. Fortunately his colleague shouted over and confirmed this and I was let onto the flight.

Hi everyone.

I am drafting my quarantine and settlement plan and need some advice on the following IRCC requirement:

  1. How you plan to quarantine for 14 days when you arrive in Canada, including how you will have access to groceries, get medical care, and other essential services. While in quarantine, you will not be able to leave your place of quarantine for any reason. This is mandatory even if you have no COVID-19 symptoms.
  • What do you have to mention for how you are going to get medical care?
    • Do we need to buy insurance?
  • What does essential services mean?

All I showed IO is confirmation of Airbnb printout. It had the address etc on it. IO just asked how I will get groceries and essentials and said I would use online services.

I have travel insurance for now as will not get an Ontario health card until later. Essential services will just be what you need in your day to day life. Neither were mentioned specifically at PoE.

Thanks for replying!

Congrats on landing! I am assuming you travelled before your COPR expired?

My COPR expired a few months back. I now have to submit a settlement and quarantine plan for IRCC to evaluate and approve.

Hi, congrats on your landing. I had a couple of questions:

1. When did you land in Canada?
2. Did the officer ask you whether you intended to settle permanently or not? If so, did they ask for any documentation to prove it? Were you carrying anything documentation to prove this just in case?

22nd of July. We're in quarantine now
Hi, congrats on your landing. What kind of questions did you get from the officer who processed your PR? Did they ask if you were coming to settle permanently vs. temporary stay? If they did, did they ask for any documentation to prove the intent to stay permanently?
