No updates since. I think I will raise a webform 3 months post AOR to see my status. Seems some applications from May are getting done very quick but these are all inland I think.

You should be specific, ask about the status of the eligibility, security & criminality. Otherwise I've seen some people have said they just send what you can see on your cic application status page.

We are in same boat ...(AOR May 8 ,2020, MP: 30 Jun, Gosh update : 30 July - still in submitted state)...I had called them on Monday 3rd Aug and they gave me same details as that of yours.
We can not conclude . We have to raise GCMS for same to check exactly whats going on. I am planing to order it on 10th Aug.
But yes rather than not started -This update is good for us ...At lease someone is working on this.

Please, can someone tell me the stage I'm in now. Would I have passed eligibility if the passports were recent on Aug 5. Was it during the eligibility review that the passport issue came up. Thank you all

No I mean in profile its still in submitted state?
Mine changed twice on 30th and 31st : Your action -> submitted -> application updated -> submitted ->application updated -> submitted.Now its submitted . What is you status says submitted or it went back again to your action needed for bio
