Hi all. Is there someone who applied by mail got approval? I am concerned they lose the documents. Is there someone on the same boat for paper applications?
I applied by paper on 31th Jan, haven't got any updates.
Is IRCC still processing paper-based applications?
I heard they have temporarily stopped the process of paper applications.
I feel nervous all the time.

I am in the same shoe, applied by paper. No update. In case the decision is not made on time or be positive, and the status of work/study ends, what should we do? Is there some one to share comments? Please someone help, I am very anxious.

I think the immigration officers might be working remotely, so they would only have access to electronic applications for now.
Probably the only thing you can do is wait for them to get back in the office and start reviewing the paper ones again.
I've heard of people resubmitting their applications electronically with a letter of explanation, so I guess you could do that, but I don't really know. You'd have to pay the fees again and by the time it gets processed they'll probably be back in the office anyway...

A friend applied in mid-June (with biometrics) and got her PGWP within a few weeks, I applied in early May (without biometrics) and no updates, just submitted. If they decided to start processing applications without biometrics is because there must be a huge backlog from February, March, April, May, and June.

Also, I just renewed my passport. Is there any chance to submit pictures of the new one via web form in case it arrives before my PGWP is processed? I really don't want to pay the fees all over again...
You can replace document through web form.

How reliable is the processing time? Would people like me who applied in May without biometrics receive the decision sometime in August, now that the processing time is 95 days?

A friends timeline.

Jan 14th PGWP application online inside Canada

Eligibility review July 29th

Approved July 31st.

Biometrics still says we need your biometrics
Do on your friend's account, they uploaded the approval letter?? Or your friend called to check with them.

The newly posted processing time doesn't seem to apply to the no-biometrics applicants.

I applied for PGWP without biometrics on 03 April, which is 124 days ago. Eligibility review has not yet started. I'll post any updates here.

Hey guys!
Here's my timeline and I'm wondering if anyone can share theirs as well??

November 2019 - Graduated from University, At that point, enrolled in a post-graduate certificate program
February 20 - CIC Received study permit extension.
March 31 - Study permit expired
April 30 - Finished post-graduate certificate program
May 25 - CIC received PGWP application

I have a job offer from a financial institution that starts August 31st, I'm super worried I won't get my work permit by then. I've submitted my job offer document through the web form in hopes of having my application speedend up a little.
Singapore passport is biometric so I never needed to give biometrics.
