ICT (GSS) from US

Hello Everyone,
My company has filled ICT (GSS category) in the month of May from US and I am still waiting for biometric instruction letter. Has anyone got Biometrics instruction letter or ICT approved recently? Biometric center at my location is going to open on July,27th.

I don’t think so they allow walk-ins. Keep checking the website for the appointments.

Thanks for the quick response. My company filed ICT for me last week through a lawyer. Any idea whether the 17 weeks processing time is applicable for my application or the 2 weeks GSS faster processing ? My H1B 6 years is expiring next month, so trying to figure out a travel plan.

You need to check with your attorney which category they have filled in. Mine is filled on May,20th and the application type is GSS.

My husband's employer has applied for a closed work permit for him and an open work permit for me (under GSS). We are currently in USA and we completed our Biometrics on July 14th, 2020. We have also received our Biometrics Correspondence letter couple of days back but there has been no further updates. Our permits were applied in 2 week processing (guess that's irrelevant due to COVID-19). Can anybody guide us if they have had similar experience and how long did it take for them to receive a response?

No updates so far after the biometrics on July 24th.
