Unofficial transcript

In my document checklist post ITA, Education Transcripts are required. There is no instruction for that. Can I submit an unofficial transcript which I can print out through my university self-service system online instead of waiting for a long time for my university to process an official transcript? I completed my degree in Canada. Thank you.

You need to scan and upload original degree certificate. Transcripts are not mandatory, but if you want to upload, just upload the scanned original copy.

For foreign education; transcripts are not mandatory. I dont see a slot in my document uplaod checlist for transcripts

May be because you had Canadian educaiton; its needed for you ? Can you confirm ?

He/She already stated that he/she has a Canadian degree.

That being said each applicant should stick to their own checklist - I studied in Canada and wasn't required to provide transcripts.

I have a Canadian degree as well and I was not asked for transcripts.... I guess it differs from candidate to candidate... maybe it depends on type of degree or smt ? ???

That's so strange; I, too, have canadian degrees, yet it's required for me to upload transcripts. I have an official transcript for my undergrad and an unofficial one for my masters.

I now checked it again just to make sure , all it says is this

Education (diplomas/degrees) (required)

??? I clicked on the info button and theres nothing about transcripts there as well.... strange

Well, I'm not 100 percent sure, but considering how we are uploading official degree/confirmation, i dont think it'll be that big of an issue to upload an unofficial one. If they want an official one, they'll let us know, though it really doesn't make any sense.

Due to covid19, my university is not issuing official transcripts. Can i upload the unofficial one? I am attaching my official degree as well. DID it cause any issue with you?

I am the same as you, I upload unofficial ones, So far, my application is 3 months, I dont see they require more proof or refuse my file. I think it will be fine

I dont include any explanation letter, I just upload the unofficial, but I dont know if there is any problem with that or not, my file still has half way to go.
