My 61 year old brother suffered from retina Pigments (eye Disease) belongs to Pakistan,

I come to know that there is Acupuncture treatment in Canada & it can improve his vision.
I am Canadian citizen working in Government of Canada and want to help out my brother for visiting in Canada and do his eye checkup and try his luck.

There is any chance for my blind brother to arrange visit visa on medical ground and how can I make his visit visa application strong.

So you can’t improve his application. It will be based on his ability to support himself, travel history and ties to his home country. As Canada has a public health care system, you would likely need referrals to a Canadian physician and his approval and proof of funds. Obvious question would be if the treatment is available in Canada, it’s likely available in a host of other countries as well, like Singapore or Thailand which are easier to access. Why fly half way around the world?

Retinitis pigmentosa is a genetic disorder. I am sorry to say that acupuncture I’ll likely not reverse his blindness. There is also likely acupuncture available in Pakistan. The studies hasn’t shown conclusively that acupuncture actually works.

It is not hard to do medical research and although not an ophthalmologist I am in the health field and am aware of treatment options. Acupuncture treatment was based on one small study. There hasn’t been concrete proof that it actially works. Acupuncture is widely accessible and usually available in every country. CIC also looks to see if there is proof that a treatment is effective before allowing people to come for a medical reason on top of looking at whether a doctor has approved to take on care and that the funds are available to support any medical treatments. Perhaps OP has not realized that the treatment actually hasn’t been considered a prove treatment by the medical community.

Yes we know there’s no cure for retinitis pigmentosa, but doctors are working hard to find new treatments, somebody refer me there is one Chinese doctor here in BC and he is helping people. Still he has no cure for retinitis pigments treatment but his treatment is enhancing some vision if the patients still have some central vision left. I am in touch with that Doctor and trying to find way, how can we help patient.

For fund we think we can arrange it (it depend how much we need). Second thing need recommendation from Doctor.

I doubt this will satisfy a visa officer. It is scientifically unproven and seems like a cult. Besides, IRCC would think why don’t you go to China or Taiwan for these kind of treatments.
