Is it just me? or do you guys also notice that there are a lot less new people going into the pool? Hence, maybe there's a higher chance that scores would substantial be lower in future draws?

Any idea how Canadian government deal with FSW landing?? Especially these countries applicants?

I don't think the virus is gone after 6 months...Canada is much better situation now and we don't want the 2nd wave again (another lockdown?)

Get the corona test done on the traveller’s expenses . Make the test mandatory before departing

Potentially. Although, you must also remember that many services are down right and given there's a pandemic people have bigger things to worry about. It is hard to say what the new 'norm' will be but I am sure now that FSW draws are happening again, more people will enter the pool

Thank you! That is wonderful news! I will go get my new proof of funds and employment letters tomorrow, and apply. That is, if I get an ITA email sometimes soon, :)

Thank you for the confirmation! I appreciate your help. I also got my photos earlier this year. Do you know if there's a validity period on those as well?
If you got your photos in the last six months, then you are good. As for the PCC, you can probably apply for one and go ahead by submitting the one that you already have since it only expires on 28th July this year. If they circle back to ask you (may be after the current one expires), you will have the updated one ready and can just turn it in if required. So, I would probably suggest that you get another PCC if you are able to.
I also believe you are good on the medical examination for now since the results are valid for 12 months.

Hello all,

I have a question and hope you can help.

I am CRS480 and will be receiving ITA today. My boyfriend (common-law partner) decided to move together. However, I entered the pool by myself last November. He has not been able to take IELTS because of Covid. I calculated his score with basic information and 7,7.5,8,7.5 (which I think he can easily get). And the result for me changed from 480 to 481.

Should I deny this ITA and wait for the next one just so he can come with me at the same time? Because without me he is only CRS 463 with a decent IELTS score. Considering they haven't resumed IELTS, I think the earlies he can get ITA will be October. That means we will be in two countries for at least a year. Please give your valuable suggestions!! Thanks!!

@ZAtoCD Heyy congratulation! Will you please also take a look?
I believe you should be able to add your boyfriend on this application itself if the score is not dropping below the CRS of 478.

People are able to add spouses if they get married. This may be possible as well. @legalfalcon or @scylla can confirm.

Did you get them to write the date behind the photos? I think that's mentioned in the official rules, and going by the date it should be within 6 months. If date isn't written, you know what to do. (Unless lockdown has changed your looks dramatically).

Hi all,
Congratulations to all the people who are going to get their ITAs. I'm at 474 and 10 days back had accepted Ontario NOI for PNP and yesterday I received a mail that the documents are complete and they will start assessment stage.
Now since the FSWs have resumed, I guess in next 2 draws my ITA may come. So in short, by one day, I lost my CAD 1500 I guess as now OINP will not refund my application fees right? Any opinions on this.
If they have begun processing your application that won’t be possible. Check your account and look for the stage. If you get the option to withdraw your application I think you can.

Then again don’t quote me on this. Wait for input from senior members. Or ask someone in this thread :

Add him post AOR but that might delay your application processing

My take on this is that you wait out till next draw as I think during this pandemic the time to submit application is 90 days(?). See how the cutoff goes and based on that accept/reject the ITA. Meanwhile, ask your bf to get IELTS date asap.
