I'm still waiting for my GCMS notes which I had requested in mid-April so I don't have any other point of reference as well. Would calling the IRCC office help?
Got it, unfortunately IRCC has been taking time extension now and then. The GCMS file you will receive will likely have been generated around the time the request was made. Yes, give IRCC a call, it doesn't hurt to call. If you know someone in Canada then can request the GCMS file again for you for $5, no guarantee it will not take long like last time.

What does the Assessment section look like? If you are inland you can request the GCMS file again for free to keep an eye on things
Thanks. I did request the GCMS again, haven't received it though, but looking at the web form response only, would you say I'm pretty close to PPR/CoPR?

Also ya, I'm inland.

Eligibility verification in progress, this message stays like that till you receive the COPR but right now out land applicants are not receiving PPR until the local visa office opens. The June 30 message is odd, trying sending another web form or calling them (TextNow app)

Thanks, I'll try to send one again.

I feel like my case is pretty clear, though:
June 12 - received my first GCMS note, finding out the issue/error with a travel entry that I incorrectly put in an incorrect return date. A web form raised around this time also showed that everything was still being reviewed/has not been initiated.
June 13 - I rectified the error by sending them a web form explaining what it was.
July 2 - received the web form response saying everything is now valid. Between June 13 and July 2, there were 2 GUs in my profile.

My logic, and also from reading the GCMS note, is that the travel issue was the only thing that held back my application, and now that it has been rectified, everything is now valid.

But, what do I know? I have requested another GCMS and will send another web form tomorrow. Hopefully the response I got today was not an error and everything doesn't turn back to being review/not initiated the next web form I raise.

Thanks again for your reply.

You are welcome, thanks for sharing the additional details. It sounds like all is good then! All the best.

I received a request asking me for a proof of funds for the past 6 months. Did anyone experience that?

In my GCMS, there was a note regarding "large deposits", and I have attached a letter to explain where the deposits come from. Now, an official request has been placed.

AOR - 17 October
MEP - 3 Nov
FSW - Inland
Office - Ottawa

Have you checked this out https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

Note the comments there in about not borrowing, official document from financial institution, 6 month average.

It's not uncommon to receive such a request.

Thanks for the reply. I have previously provided those documents when I applied back in October, 6 months of statements of my accounts with an official document from the bank signed and dated. But now after 8 months of processing, they are asking again for the past 6 months of statements.

Got it, your Eligibility is marked Passed? Verification of funds is done at this stage but can occur at the last stage, security screening, as well.

Eligibility isnt passed yet. I think the background check and security is passed. I have received different answers so I'm not quite sure about that.

Security screening comes after Eligibility. Background checks is made up of criminality check, info sharing and security screening that happen at different times. Not sure of the comments in your GCMS file but do provide the requested PoF documents. Eligibility Review is the most important stage.

Also as an inland applicant you can request your GCMS file for free. Make another request a bit after submitting the requested information.

Has anyone received the PR card already? I've activated my PR back on March 17th 2020 and still haven't received anything. Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I wanted to post my recent experience with web form responses and check if anyone else has also faced a similar situation or not. Here's my details for ref:

AOR: 27 Oct 2019
FSW - Outland

On March 2 for my very first web form inquiry, I got the following response:
Eligibility verification in progress
Security not initiated
Criminal background verification valid

On March 27:
Eligibility verification in progress
Background verifications valid:
Security background verification valid
Criminal background verification valid

On Apr 27:
We verified the information you provided and can confirm that a decision has been made on the application. Rest assured that the responsible office will contact you by mail or email to provide you with that decision.

So far things seemed to be moving, and as per the last response, it looked like they had made a decision, but just paused operations due to Covid. I then sent another one a few days ago, and received the following response:

June 30:
  • The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
    • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
  • The eligibility review has not been initiated.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification has not been initiated.

They have completely made a U-turn here as if my application has not even been touched so far! Has anyone else experienced something similar recently, or is aware of any possible reason for such a strange response? Appreciate your input!
This is a weird situation, have you tried calling CIC, try it u might understand what's going on with ur file.
