Just in case, if I get refused for pgwp extension, am I still allowed to apply for bridge work permit whilst my prapplication is being processed?

what do you mean PGWP extension, You cannot extend PGWP (unless you didnt get it full length first time due to passport expiry). If you PGWP is expiring, apply for PR asap and once you have AOR apply for BWP.

Hi everyone.

I am currently on a PGWP working full-time. I have already submitted m e-APR under CEC. However, I found a mistake I have made in 4~5 years ago whilst I was on a study permit.

Under study permit, international students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during an academic semester, and full-time during an academic break. I am afraid that I actually worked about 25 hours per week on a couple of occasions in the early 2016. Well, after realizing I miscalculated my hours, I did reduce my hours correctly to only work under 20 hours since then. To clarify, I was a full-time student between 2015 fall and 2019 winter. Since then, my work hours per week did not go over 20 hours during any academic semesters.

Is there anything I can do to reduce chance of rejection for my CEC application?

I does not matter for PR application. I they have any problem with your part-time working hours they might have told you earlier when you got your PGWP. Do not try to complicate your EE profile.

If you did not face any issues for PGWP then most likely you won't face any issues for PR application either.

yes, because of the expiration of the passport

Yes, my initial PGWP was issued to my previous passport's expiry date. CIC confirmed that I am eligible for one-time PGWP extension in this special situation.

If you did not face any issues for PGWP then most likely you won't face any issues for PR application either.
